Prevacid prohibitively expensive

Prevacid solutabs is costing us upwards of $100 AFTER insurance has picked up its piece.

 

What are we doing incorrectly? Is this others' experience as well? TIA

My 14yo ds has been treated for reflux since he was 4. As soon as Prevacid went OTC our insurance wouldn't cover it. You may have to get your docs involved and write a letter of medical necessity about why the solutabs have to be used.
