Periods

Hi there. My 12 yr old dd got her period in sept for the first time. It's been erratic. But today she got her period only 12 days after starting the last one. Should we get a dr.s appoint?

If this is the first time this has happened I wouldn't be too concerned.  When I was a teen my period was very irregular.  One time I had a period about two weeks after finishing the last one.

My daughter is 14 and just went three months without having her period.  I was about to take her to the doctor and then it came.

It's quite normal the whole first year. You might want to boost her iron intake but otherwise, I'd not worry about it unless she's feeling unwell or if she's soaking through a pad in less than an hour.

Well this isn't 2 weeks after her period, it's 5 days.  And this morning she said she's never seen such a wet pad this morning.  she's super pale too.

Plus she has been experiencing stomach aches 'all the time' for about a month and a half.  So we took her off dairy and she a little better but it's still there. 

I booked a dr.s appoint for today @ 4:05.

I'll let you all know what happens.

ps. I'm always so paranoid.

Well with the additional info you provided I don't think you're being paranoid.

I hope your daughter is okay.
