Hi, I'm an ex-Texan, grew up there, but have been away for some 20 years since I went off to college (wow, has it really been that long?). I still claim Texan roots and still hate the cold, but we do go back to visit!

I'm a native Texan and one-time Houstonian. My husband is a native Houstonian. We met there 7 years ago when we were both living in Montrose. We live about 2.5 hours north in Nacogdoches now, but still get to Houston with some frequency. I went to college there and a good chunk of my friends are still in the area. My mom grew up in Galveston and my DH's parents are in Friendswood.

I miss Houston the most when I'm hungry!

P.S. HeatherB is in this DDC and she lives in Houston currently, I believe.
