Just moved to Albuquerque NM

Hey ladies, We just moved here from Grand Rapids MI. We use to live in Truth or Consequences NM before that, so it's good to be back home in NM. 

I have 3 kids and I'm trying to decide where to take my kids. Lovelace Pediatrics or Presbyterian.?  Do you have any recommendations?

Welcome back to NM!  We have Presbyterian health plan and take our kids to Dr. Allison at After hours pediatrics.  He was recommended to us by friends.   We also just found a great pediatric dentist- Sandia Pediatric Dentistry on Wyoming by the academy.   I like these doctors because they are good, kind, and pretty conservative.  They also both give options for me to choose from.

Hello and welcome! I know that UNM has some preconceived notions attached to it but as a person who has worked at the school of medicine & interacted with many of the doctors AND a mom I can tell you that we have received the best care there. My daughter has had awesome pediatric care there to include having a sleep study & surgery by one of their ENT's for her apnea. My daughter has been treated at their pediatric ER twice-they were amazing & so very caring. The peds ER is separate from the adult one & even has its own waiting room. They do have an urgent care at the hospital also but you can actually call there & make an appt ahead of time.
