8 weeks ahead? - update in comments!

Okay.. so this is my 4th pregnancy. I'm pretty proficient at finding my fundus. Well this time around I first felt the fundus at 7 weeks and it was slightly above my pubic bone. I thought "pshh I'm just constipated. That's what I'm feeling." Uh yeah. Nope. Now I'm 8 weeks and it's measuring where it would be at 16 weeks. Easily find it. I'm waking up to pee in the morning feeling like I would if I were further along. Like my uterus is going to fall out of my stomach.

Now here's the thing.. with my 2nd baby I measured 12 weeks at 10 because I had a large cyst pushing it up. With my 3rd baby I measured 16 weeks at 12 weeks but no reason for it.

I'm 8 weeks. Is this just my normal? I know in the beginning everyone thinks it's twins but holy crap I'm measuring 8 weeks ahead! I'd say I have at least a small reason to be thinking it's twins. lol

I have a doppler and found the heartbeat just a few days ago. I can literally poke my uterus from the side and get baby into a better position to be heard. Which to me just seems so insane at this stage. Still waiting on my first appt.

Am I crazy? Please tell me this is common for a 4th time mom.

Wow, I've never heard of that before. I am on pregnancy 3 and I can clearly feel my fundus. It's about half way to my belly button and I am 9 weeks. They didn't measure it at my prenatal today though. Nor check with a doppler. (had an u/s instead)

THIS. okay. Midway to your belly button is about 16 weeks. So I am NOT crazy and I'm not alone. lol Thank you!

Okay. Just to update you!

Went to my first appt today. Uterus definitely measuring bigger. Not tilted or "just sitting high".. it's enlarged. She checked for fibroids or multiples but her machine was small. She used transvaginal and couldn't tell anything was even there. Switched to abdominal and she said she saw two sacs. She couldn't tell very well to even measure so she sent me to a bigger machine. That lady only used transvaginal. I kept seeing a 2nd sac but she says there's only 1. However, even on the picture you can see the edge of the "2nd sac" I kept seeing. Unless it was just a bleed? No clue. Not sure why the doctor and I would see two full sacs with the abdominal and not the transvaginal. Even my 6yr old kept pointing out that he saw two and the doctor agreed with him. At any rate, uterus is definitely enlarged. Can twins hide? lol

I love how there are 93 views but hardly any comments...???

I've heard of twins going undetected...I'd have a follow up at some point!

Going back in in 4 weeks.  I'm just glad that what I felt (enlarged uterus) is what she felt. I feel validated. =)

I may get one sooner. I have a consult with a high risk doctor because I have a history of blood clots. They want it SOON but I can't schedule it until I can get my records faxed from one place to the other. I'm going to ask them to rescan.
