Not feeling so pregnant at 5.5 weeks...

This is my 4th pregnancy-- I have two boys and one early loss (9 weeks).  At 4 weeks I was feeling crampy etc I think as my uterus was kinda adjusting or whatever and I was way sore all over and just plain tired.  I'm feeling a bit more normal lately though and this is kinda worrisome-- boobs are definitely bigger and I am still tired (but have been drinking much less caffeine).  I was hoping I would feel nauseaus by now...  Maybe that won't kick in for another week or so?  I can't even remember for my last pregnancies.

I guess I'm just looking for some reassurance-- when will the nausea hit?  I won't go to the midwife for another month.  my boobs aren't even that sore-- just bigger (but I've also been eating considerably more).

Thanks!

Kate

I'm in the same boat and freaking myself out about it!! Very slightly sore boobs and occasionally a heaviness/stretchiness in my uterus but mostly feel normal. Oh I'm super tired but have a toddler who still wakes up half the night so nothing out of the ordinary there. To make it worse I've had a very small amount of brown spotting. Last pregnancy I was super sick for the first month or so I think, with very sore, big breasts, and no spotting at all. So yeah, I feel you!!

Generally, most nausea starts around 6 weeks. I understand the worry, however.grouphug.gif

Yeah I'm trying to tell myself wait another week or so before judging how I feel. Also, even if I were to have an early ultrasound right now, it wouldn't necessarily indicate that anything was wrong bc the heart may not be beating yet. So I'm trying to stay positive, calm, and accepting.

I took yet another test today and got an immediate super dark preggo line (earlier tests were faint. Feel like that is prob a good sign?

Same here, 5.5 weeks and not feeling very pregnant yet. This is my second. I'm still nursing my first as he's only 11 months and I have notuced my nipples are much more sensitive. That's the only symptom so far though...besides being a little emotional.

My most major symptom now is continuous crying, tearfulness. GAH!!! Feel so strongly about everything. Very intense. Don't remember crying so much in 1st tri with my first.

I also have very few symptoms, though that is how I was the first time around as well.  Weeks 4-5 I had some stretching, discomfort, twinges in uterus but now not feeling much.  I was more exhausted last week then I am this week.  I hate to complain because I would much rather less symptoms than more but it is so strange.  My boobs don't even hurt and are definitely not bigger!  But they didn't get sore hardly at all last time either.  I do have the pregnancy heat at night (get so hot I have to strip down and flip covers off while sleeping) and insomnia- blech.

EXACT same situation here Tinkerbell. I'm trying not to worry and stay calm but it's hard.

My friend who gave birth last July had the most uneventful pregnancy ever, no morning sickness, no moodiness, nothing other than a growing belly. She had a healthy boy.
I try to keep that in mind when I start wondering about my own lack of symptoms. Maybe we have a skewed idea about what early pregnancy is supposed to be like because for the most part we only ever hear women complain about being sick. And since most of us try to keep things quiet until 12 weeks morning sickness tends to be the symptom that gives it away early. What I'm trying to say is: if there was another woman in your circle of friends who was pregnant and felt great it'd be less likely that she'd be telling everyone about it or anyone would notice.
