Help me figure out a storage solution for CDs and FC...

What we have been using is a 6-8 gal bucket with a tight snapping lid..pop it open to put the soiled diapers or wipes in it and snap it back shut.

Problem is that the smell is so overwhelming when I open it to wash! It has been known to burn my eyes! Should I be putting something in there with the cloth? Different storage solution all together? I prefer a dry pail but if a wet pail would help let me know!

I'm not CDing right now as both boys are potty training but I'm due again in March so we will be soon!

Have you tried putting an enzyme cleaner in there as well? Might help with the odor. Something like Bac-Out or one of Rockin' Green's detergents (personally I've only used the Femme Rock but it definitely helps fight odor).

Would this be just for a wet pail?

I think it should work ok with a dry pail too, just sprinkle the enzyme cleaner in the pail or bag when you add a diaper.
