I am trying to find out some information about Thunder Bay, Ontario. We may be moving there in August so that my husband can attend Lakehead University. We have a son that will soon be starting Kindergarten so I am keen to find information about schools in the city for him. From what I can tell there are both Catholic and Public school boards there and one Christian private school. I am open to both the Catholic and public schools and want to know if you can recommend some schools near the university. Also, any information about activities for kids and the job market too would be much appreciated. I am a teacher but I have already been told that the job situation for teachers is dire in Ontario so I will have to look for something else while we are living in Thunder Bay.
