I have been doing the 6 week birth prep by Christopher too. I also try to do fro tea. I am going to start squats and hanging out over the birth ball to get baby in good position. Kegels when I remember.

Ha! "Sheer will." That's great. I told my husband about the date thing last night and we were discussing how you never hear people be like "DATES! those are my favorite!!"

really?  that's totally how they are in my house!  husband, kids and me, we FIGHT over them and can't keep them on hand!  i used to have to hide them for my treats.  i think my raw foodie days totally biased me- i also used them to make raw cacao brownies.  and even eating all these dates, my babies came when they pleased..... hmmmmmmmm.

I really like dates but they aren't something I would ever think to have on a daily basis and I really dislike anything that I have to eat (or drink *she says, staring woefully down at her second RRL tea today*) every day for any reason.

I have to say that I was getting kind of worried with all the pre-labour things that were going on last week, but I'm actually feeling really comfortable with her coming whenever she's ready now. My trainee at work is comfortable now and I will be 37 weeks on Thursday. Also, I finally got my prenatal records at my last appointment which told me that she's been measuring at least 2 weeks ahead for this entire pregnancy, so I'm feeling pretty good about it if she decides to come early. I also learned from my records that when I was last checked at my 32 week appointment (due to a combination of symptoms), my cervix was already softening... I'm not entirely sure why my doctor neglected to tell me any of these things as she was recording them, but at least I know now.

I'm starting to get excited!

I've been doing kegels multiple times a day, practicing and listening to my HypnoBabies CD's daily. Also I've been visualizing my ideal birth a few times a week, and doing he HypnoBabies fear clearing sessions. After reading and discussing with our doula we've decided not to do the perineal massage.

Most importantly I've been trying to get any pending projects done at work. I don't want to leave and have stuff sitting on my desk, I think that as long as I know everything is done I'll feel totally free to go whenever baby is ready.

I have been trying to work in some squats instead of Kegels--

Also just started BlissBorn today, so will be working on practicing that.

sooooooo true.  other than my prenatals, i cannot do ANYTHING daily.  it's like punishment.  unless i *happen* to do it daily!

i'm also 37 weeks on thursday!  so not taking measures to speed things up, but in a similar spot where i'm feeling like whenever!

husband looked at me this morning and said 'so now we enter the final month of grumpiness'- apparently i have a trend.

Hey Mommas,

I just got an update from Hynobabies about a coupon for 50% off on their MP3s. I was thinking about getting something other than BABY STAY IN to listen to in the home stretch. ;) Here's the code info:

Use Coupon Code hypnomp3 at Checkout for 50% off All *Supplemental* Hypnobabies MP3 Tracks.
