Bleeding 8 weeks postpartum- still lochia?

I am 8 weeks postpartum. My bleeding stayed pretty consistent for the first 6 weeks, came and went a little from 6-7 weeks, and then I haven't seen any bleeding since 7 weeks. A few minutes ago (sorry if TMI) I had a bowel movement and then when I wiped, there was bright red blood. Not a lot- it wasn't dripping in the toilet or anything, just when I wiped. I've read that lochia is considered normal for the first 56 days and I'm 57 days postpartum today. I'm guessing since it's only one day later it's still considered normal, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

My first thought is that it was the return of AF, but I think there would be more blood if that was the case, plus it seems pretty early considering I'm EBF on demand.

It may just be normal lochia and I would just monitor it for now.  That being said, I EBF on demand and was tandem nursing the second time and got my period back at 6 weeks after each baby so it's not out of the question.

Are you sure it was vaginal bleeding? Could it have been from the bowel movement?
