Home Birth or Birth Center Birth in New York City?

Hello all,

I am currently working on a dissertation about out-of-hospital birth in New York City, in conjunction with the New York University Journalism Institute. I’ve spent the last four months primarily doing research and interviews with midwives and birth professionals, and now I’d like to get in touch with parents who have experienced a planned out-of-hospital birth.

If you have had—or are planning to have—a home birth or a birth center birth in the New York City area, and would be interested in participating, please let me know and I’d love to provide more details and set up a brief interview with you about your experience.
