I want to use quality resources and literature to educate my children.post #84 of 5941/16/13 at 2:46pmI want to homeschool to spend more time with my kids and continue to foster the connectedness that I found so important during the baby/toddler years!
post #85 of 5941/16/13 at 2:46pmI want my 3yr old to continue to have the freedom to learn at his own pace and the love and guidance for his mind, heart, and spirit to not be placed in a box. I want to connect and share in learning about the world around us. My son will be free to explore, feel, and learn. Having the freedom to spend the time with him homeschooling is so important to me. In doing so we will be encouraging each other to learn new things everyday. Having some tools as he's growing would be fabulous!post #86 of 5941/16/13 at 2:48pmI originally considered homeshooling because my daughter has a crazy active imagination and I want to keep it that way, but since then I have come up with a million and a half more reasons to do so! :)

We homeschool because our kids are beautiful spirits in love with learning in their own ways at their own pace and we aim to keep it that way!
post #91 of 5941/16/13 at 3:05pmI am planning on homeschooling my children because I believe that I can facilitate a more creative, experiential, multiethnic, progressive, spiritual learning curriculum than the alternatives.post #92 of 5941/16/13 at 3:08pm- phathui5

I want my children to learn at their own pace, at their own rhythm, and to also learn in a gentler environment.

I love homeschooling for the wondrous opportunity it provides to be present as my boys explore and learn their world. Too witness the look of pride and excitement that comes with their work is a real honour. Being able to have no start and end time to the learning as well as no fixed location is excellent.post #98 of 5941/16/13 at 3:34pmI love homeschooling because my boys have plenty of time to dig, to pretend, to create - to just be kids. I love that I get to be with my children during the best part of their day, and that I get to experience the joy of learning with them. I love Oak Meadow, specifically, because it is such a rich and whole learning experience - everything I wanted for them back when we were still "school shopping" - and now our lessons, too, are one of the BEST parts of the day - I really connect with this material and the boys look forward to "lesson time" each day. We'd be so thankful to win a free grade level. Thanks for offering this!
post #99 of 5941/16/13 at 3:35pmThere are a number of reasons we have chosen to homeschool our children (starting next year!). One is that I believe I can give them a better opportunity to do things at their own pace,
