DD is almost 1 year, and aside from her floor bed (though she's usually in the bed with us), and her cabinet of pots and pans in the kitchen, how can I set up my home to be a Montessori environment for her?

Hi mama!
I wish I'd had these when DS was nearing 1:

I haven't bought this Mom's books, but if I have another child I will: http://montessoriconfessions.blogspot.com/

Not specifically that young, but a good blog: http://livingmontessorinow.com/2012/11/06/overwhelmed-moms-guide-to-montessori-homeschooling/

Another great resource is http://ageofmontessori.org/parents-3/homeschoolers/ tons of free resources on this site or an online Montessori Info course if you were montivated. Also a good quick read is Nurturing Your Child's Inner Life by Mary Ellen Maunz. She was a student of Elisabeth Caspari all information is VERY reliable. Good luck!
