Are you wearing 'em yet? - Page 2

My pants are getting quite snug but I can still squeeze into my jeans if I need to go someplace, but back in sweats as soon as I hit the door. The waistband just seems to make my nausea worse I don't really want to start wearing maternity clothes now at only 7 wks, but may be soon.

Lauren...right with you on that bloated at night thing...yuck I feel like the Goodyear blimp at bedtime.

Not really- I'm wearing a few fitted maternity shirts so I can pull the rubber band trick on some of my pants although some still fit just fine. I'm quickly running out of clothes that fit well though.

not yet, but soon I'm sure. I'm almost 7 weeks and with #2 I was 8 weeks when I started wearing them. we haven't told anyone, so I have to wait a little while. we are waiting to have the pg confirmed and make sure everything is ok

What's the rubber band trick?

My waistbands are getting snug, but at just 6 weeks I'm not ready to give in to maternity clothes yet. Plus we haven't told anyone, either, so I'm going to wait AT LEAST until we tell people.

you loop a rubber band around the button and hole of your pants so you they still stay up, but aren't constricting. of course it only works with long shirts :LOL which i'm finding i don't have! i think i'm going to be getting some maternity clothes soon because i can't wear my normal summer clothes-there's no place to hide!! it was definately easier to hide under bulky winter clothes last time! :LOL

yup, I had a business meeting & had to buy a new outfit. I figured I wasn't going to spend the money on something I couldn't wear for the rest of the season, so I found a very cute sleeveless stretch empire-waisted dress at Target. They have a very nice collection of maternity clothes. Only 5 weeks along, but it's all good. I made the jump from trendy-stylish to mama-stylish 3 years ago, LOL!

I wish b/c I have some cute summer ones! No though, I'm still in my same old clothes. I think w/ AJ I started getting bigger (though that's when ms started) at 8 wks. We'll see though.

Yep I am wearing some of mine already! I swear I started gaining weight from the moment of conception! Before I even knew I looked in the mirror at my expanding pooch and thought, "damn I look pregnant!" hmm well there was a reason for it :LOL

I can't wear any pants that button at all! I heard you show earlier in subsequent pregnancies, but I never thought this soon! I didn't start wearing maternity until about month 4 with dd.

I feel like a big fat whale

Oh my...well you all have me beat! I'm 10 weeks and just starting to think about getting into some maternity clothes. I wasn't in them full time until 18 weeks with DS...but I'm already pooched out. My jeans are too tight...

Glad to know I'm not alone...
