Memphis area mommas?

Hey all,

I just moved to the Memphis area this past summer (I am actually a few minutes south in Mississippi). I am looking for other natural-minded mamas and kiddos. I tried joining the local breastfeeding group but they have yet to confirm my membership, they must not be very active. I have been looking at homeschool groups but the only ones I can find are very religious and I would like to find a more diverse group.

We are moving to the Memphis area as well (and may end up in the Olive Branch, Ms area, too). I don't homeschool and my children are all at least preschool age, but it would still be nice to meet other moms there! We are just in the NE Arkansas area now so it's not that far away for us.

There is also a Facebook page for Alternamamas of Memphis which is great for meeting like-minded mamas in the area too.

We're you able to get into the breastfeeding mamas group. It's actually an active group. Breasfeeding Moms of Memphis is actually a pretty active group. Just FYI if you are considering a move to MS, you must vax or homeschool. MS doesn't accept religious or philosophical exemptions, and it's extremely difficult to find alt-vax schedule friendly doctors in MS. Children must be up-to-date in order to attend school. Just wanted you to know. I've had a few mama friends run into big issues when school age arrived.
