I just discovered coursera.com and it's like a dream come true! i loved being in college, and even afterwards i used to live near colleges and drop into guest lectures and even audit courses ... that is so long ago now and i dont live anywhere near a college anymore. i was in fact thinking the other day how much i miss being near an academic environment where you can just walk around and hear interesting conversations or just browse the bulletin boards for all the symposia going on.
And then someone told me about coursera and I have signed up for five courses already!
I started one today and it is great. Real professors!
So excited! Just had to share.
