Hello new members! I'm excited about this new group and I hope we can all have a great time talking about what we enjoy about life without television and help each other when needed.

I don't have an image for the group yet. Do you have an image, such as children playing, a family hiking, or a mother reading to her child, that we could ask Cynthia to make into the group's image here on Mothering?

We could use a stock photograph for the time being! (Just be careful where you get your stock images from - a friend of mine had an unpleasant surprise when her own picture of her pet turned up, uncredited, on some commercial packaging! Turns out the packaging designer had purchased one of those "stock photo CDs" off of Ebay, and there were actually loads of stolen images on it...)

I had a couple of ideas for group discussions, but I'm hesitant to post because I don't want to duplicate what is already being talked about in the TV Free Forum (I believe that's in The Kitchen Sink). So you're more than welcome to start a new thread with a question or something to teach the rest of us, etc. If I remember what I wanted to talk about it I'll post that too.
