Infertility drugs

Has anyone taken 17OHP (the progesterone shot), or prochieve gel (the suppository) along with their Clomid or Femara? I am nervous about adding progesterone because I have read a ton of nasty side effects it can cause. I would like to hear from anyone who has some first hand experience.

I used prometrium which is a pill that can be taken orally or vaginally.  I didn't notice any bad side effects, but I didn't notice much with any of the fertility drugs I took.  The other ones you mentioned I have not heard of.  Maybe they are brand names?  I have heard lots of mentions of PIO, progesterone in oil, and Crinone, a suppository.  I know there are quite a few women around here who have used those.  As far as side effects go, I have heard of worse ones with Clomid than progesterone.

with the injections in my butt muscle i get pain the next day in the area. the suppositories made me icth as if to have a yeast infection..though it was not. i found the simpler's yeast aid worked to just rub it in the area..for the itch.

I had nasty side effects with Clomid, but none at all with oral progesterone and estrogen
