I am so sorry you had such a scary experience! I don't know if this helps after the fact, but my MW and OB stressed a high fiber diet to prevent placenta previa.
I've been eating things like prunes (5 a day also helped my constipation... heh, oatmeal, romaine lettuce (can't stand the fancy greens or spinach), and whole grains when possible. I still feeling some aversion to veggies, but just started adding back carrots and radishes tossed in a simple lemon and olive vinaigrette.
