Hope its a good movie! Quiet night here too. Hubby is taking our oldest skating tonight so its just me and the little guy at home. After he goes to bed I am going to watch a flick I have saved on the pvr too :)

We went out for dinner to Applebees. YUMMY! I am finally starting to get my appetite back! I am hoping to go to BabiesRus this weekend to push around some strollers...
Other than that, just quiet time. Maybe I'll watch a movie too, that sounds nice and relaxing :)

I spent my evening preparing for a baby shower I am hosting for a friend tomorrow. Then next Friday I am co-hosting a Bridal shower for another friend. No, I did not pick the dates! Craziness.

I'm pretty excited for this weekend -- I'm going to a surprise party for one of the moms of the little boy I nannied for 2+ years. I only left their family to move to NH with my partner, and I miss them ALL the time. Can't wait to see my little M. Also can't believe that he's THREE now O.o

Apparently, just after I told my former bosses about my pregnancy, M was talking about me/asking about me, and said "she is going to have a little baby!" They had not mentioned it to him at all. So strange/awesome!

I had a sick kiddo. Was up more than I slept last night. He had a fever, but other than the normal lethargy from the fever, no other symptoms. Weird. Fortunately, no one else is sick and I'm staying positive that it will stay that way.

We have sickness here too! Started with a high fever and vomiting on Saturday and today the fever is gone but now dd has the runs. It really hasn't been so bad as my friends have had with their kids so I think the Elderberry syrup is working.

L went to bed with a fever on Christmas Eve and woke with one on Christmas day (I know, it was a month ago!) which prevented us from going to the Fire Station to see DH on Christmas day but she was the only one that experienced this even though there are 7 of us.  I'm very thankful for that and trying my darndest (is that a word?!) to keep the rest of the sickies away.

His fever came back in the night last night. Not as high, but made for another sleepless night for me. He's still punky today, but still no other symptoms. Poor kid is so needy, but nothing is making him happy. He keeps asking for a drink, takes one sip, then wants something else. I feel bad for him.

talldarkeyes and Sheila- sorry to hear about the sick kids! :(  We're just getting over that!

We had a nice weekend at home...with nothing to do...since before the holiday rush!  It was wonderful!

Aw, I'm sorry so many of us are dealing with some sick kids at home.  We are getting over ear infections here, and that is our 'usual' battle all winter....

Have you heard of Similisan Ear Drops? A friend of mine told me about them a couple years ago when one of my kiddos so having a bad ear ache. A couple drops in the ear and the pain was literally gone in about 15 minutes. Have used it since on my big kids as well as littles and it has worked every time.

I have heard of the ear drops, and having a warm rice bag or even warm olive oil will help ease their pain.  The problem is the internal drainage issues and it affecting their hearing.
