Pediatrician and Doctors in North San Diego County?

Hi! We moved to the Carlsbad area north of San Diego, and we have yet to find a pediatrician out here. We are looking for someone that is open to not vaccinating especially- I want to be able to discuss things with the pediatrician and not feel the pressure, kwim? Also, we are looking for a general family dr for all of us as well. We would like to stay in the North county area, but if we have to drive further for the right one we will.

We did look in to Dr. Sear's, but he is a bit of a drive (I'd really prefer someone closer), and he doesn't accept insurance (I know others in the practice do..but really prefer to be a bit closer)

Hi! I've lived in North County for 2 years. For the first year my DD's pediatrician was Dr sears (LOVE him!) But the drive got to be too much. We have a super close pediatrician now, but I'm not super impressed. He was chosen more for location than anything else. I would love to know of a good pediatrician around here who supports breastfeeding, no vaccines and a healthy plant based diet!

I'm having an unassisted birth in North County, and am having a hard time finding a way to get the newborn hearing test done after my LO is born. My pediatrician said the only way was the hospital? Does that sound right? I had it done through the school district with my last baby.

We made an appointment with Dr. Pamela Wells in Carlsbad and I really liked her. She didn't pressure us at all (she does believe in vaccinating but was TOTALLY fine with us either not vaccinating, selective, whatever- and when I asked for her honest opinion about specific ones, she was very open but not pushy AT ALL)- now we have only been to one appointment, but I do like her so far.
