I've been lurking since 2009 when I was pregnant with my DS, now 2 yrs old. I also have a DD, 5 mths old. I actually read the mothering forums at some point every day so I feel like I "know" many of you already.
My main reason for joining is I'd like to get active in the vaccination forums. My DCs are unvaxxed because I am more terrified of what could happen as a result of a vaccine than I am of them catching a vpd.
Recent interactions with doctors in the ER have led me to get serious about my research on each vpd so that I can be confident about why I don't vaccinate - or I may discover that it makes sense to be on a delayed/selective schedule. We'll see.
Some more about me.. We live in Canada. I'd love to have at least 2 more children. Non-circ, baby wearing, sometimes cloth diapering family. Really just trying to live as naturally as possible to be as healthy as possible.
