Oops, I missed weigh in -- I am the same...180.4

I'm 170.4. A bit up but I did eat almost exclusively chocolate on V-day and my folks took my kids for a long weekend and fun with friends was had.

Whoops... forgot to post. I did weigh in yesterday at 136.0. Oh well... lol.

I'm so frustrated I lose 2-3 pounds and gain them right back ... I'm at the same weight as before 185.... I guess I will try something new and see how it works out this week.

150... went overboard on Valentine's candy. Back on track!

ok; so i slipped up a bit today because i had friends (and their kids) for lunch AND for dinner (different families)

on the other hand ... i can now see that although i slipped a bit from how i "normaly" eat when "alone" with my family ... i haven't stuffed myself silly at all and was still reasonnable about portion sizes (one sixteenth of a home made apple pie ... + rice with my curried lentils + a little bit of nan bread, when i said i would'nt have startches in the evening) i didn't have any snack in the afternoon though & can now feel a bit hungry before a meal AND not feel some sort of panicky feeling that makes me want to eat and eat and eat straight away ...

we walked for 2 hours before evening meal + yesterday i stayed on my feet from 1:00pm to past 6:00 pm so i suppose that i'm good for exercise so far this week

I weighed in on Monday at 146.8 and today was back at 148. I don't know if it was water weight or what. I did eat more yesterday and drink less water Monday and Tuesday. I'm trying to remind myself today to get on top of the water. I also walked for at least 15 minutes today in addition to my almost-daily 5 minutes on the rebounder.

I've been walking the past 2 days at least 15 minutes per day and today upped my rebounder to 7.5 minutes from 5.

Yesterday, I ran in a race with 2 of the kids that are in the after school program where I work. One was my dd, 7yo, the other was a boy, 8yo. It was embarrassing! How could I have gotten so out of shape and slow that I would lose to little kids?!?!?! This must be corrected!!! I could barely stand to stay in the gym with them. Then I had to run bases for kickball. Not only was I tagged out, but I was seriously winded - both times that I ran! OMG, I MUST get back to exercising more! Sheepish.gif

Ugh.  Woke up with a very encouraging number on the scale, then had a bad food day with little exercise, and now I feel gross.  I'm checking in here to re-commit so I don't continue a backslide.  I did eat pretty low-carb today, but not enough veggies, so I need to focus on veggies for tomorrow.  I also need to take fewer liberties with the carbs, as I've been increasing them a bit, and apparently I just can't do that without getting all bingey.  I'm not sure why I thought almond flour blueberry scones would not be irresistible :)  If anyone is wondering, um, they are in fact NOT irresistible.

hi... i had a bad night last night (stuffing myself instead of sleeping) but an excellent day sport wise so am hoping that it will compensate & that i'll do better today !

This afternoon has been very difficult, but I'm proud to say that I got over the hump.

Dh took the kids out for the afternoon and I was happy for some time to knit and watch tv.  But I soooo wanted to go out for sonic tater tots.  I tend to be a bit of a 'secret eater' and I get a thrill of sneaking out to grab something to eat without my family coming or knowing.  But I didn't do it!  I did a bunch of knitting and then I emptied the dishwasher and then I buckled down and did a workout video just before they came home.  I was desperate to fill the time so that I didn't run out.

I'm feeling a bit deprived and a little sad that I didn't get to 'treat' myself, but I am glad that I persevered!  Keeping this group and challenge in mind was a definite help!  I so don't want to be a zero change again this Monday!  Thanks, all!

Hi mamas.

I did not officially join in on time - but if it is ok, I will "unofficially" join in until the next session opens up. I was hoping to start in January - but b/c of my crazy schedule, I did small breakfast, no lunch, and large dinner - didn't gain anything, but didn't lose either.

So I am now 3 wks in, lost 14. I went low carb initially, but as of today, going to do green juices for a month. Parsely +/- cilantro + cuke + spinach + apple + small amount of celery. I have been experimenting all weekend to find a blend I like. By golly, I think I've got it.

Going to start hitting the gym tomorrow as well. Water aerobics here I come.

with the time difference i'll be the first one to remport my weigh in for Mon the 25th

157.6 lb

am so pleased that the numbers are still going down in spite of the last few carbs eating evenings i've had

so that is 71.5 kg or 11 stones and 9 lb (i had a time in my life when i lost weigh using slimming magazines baught in the UK ....)

my new goal (unlikely to be for the end of this challenge, but final goal) will be 125 lb (57 kg or 8 stones 13 lb ...)

another week to go with school holidays = keeping the kids entertained and little to NO "me-time" // my favorite activities for exercising ....

my short term goal is to get below 70 kg  (154.3 lb) and then below 68 kg ( 149.9 lb) .....

Sounds like you have a good plan. Your welcome for support until we start the next challenge to add you into our team competition.

AFM, this week has not been a good one.  247.2 pounds. Too much salt I think, as this morning I felt puffy.  In other non-weight news, I have a job interview today and I am excited! I hope it goes well.

After a week of sickness, my birthday cheating, and what I think is bloating my weigh in is 150 :( I literally cried.

Im above where we started. I know Ive cheated a bit, and I havent been able to do my exercising because of illness, but 4 lbs?!?! Im afraid that the birth control I got is assisting in the gain- at least, im feeling bloated and crampy these past few days.

Anyway, you know its bad when you cheat, and then you dont want to get on the scale, which just makes continuing to cheat easier. As it turns out, existing off of apples and peanut butter will not help you lose weight. Neither does eating 5 tagalongs last night.

Anyway, Im back on! DH went back to work today, and its going to be harder for me to exercise for the next couple of weeks, but Im going to do something! My goal is to come back next monday weighing in at 146. I know I can do it if the bloat will go away. Im going to be salt free for 7 days! (Meaning, I promise not to pour salt on my food).

I'm happy to report that I weighed in this morning at 217.  Down another two pounds!

My goal is to be down again next week instead of holding steady, which seems to be what I tend to do.  I'm going to stick to my budget and not get lunch out and I'm going to keep up my workouts and activity.  My mile swim took 12-15 minutes longer today than it should have. I was pretty discouraged, but in the end I was glad that I stuck it out and finished rather than stopping early.

Stay positive, Mamas! A new week is upon us!

168.6 today.  Finally going down a tiny bit!

A little disappointed at 156.6. Sunday morning's number was WAY better. But, as Adaline's Mama said, that's what happens if you cheat. For me it was chocolate coconut macaroons. Low cal AND low carb - but not when you eat a dozen.

Goal this week is less cheating and more walking. I want to at least glimpse a 154 this week.

Good luck, everyone!
