Pregnancy apps « Back to Group Discussions

Has anyone gotten any good pregnancy apps? I downloaded the free one from Sprout which talks about development and has tools to track weight and appointments. Any other fun ones out there?

Also, does anyone know of one that tells what medicines are safe or not (including herbs and supplements preferably)? I know lactmed has one for breast feeding, but one for pregnancy would be awesome too.

The babycenter one seems to have the most info/be the most stable. It has DDC chat built in too, but the community is very mainstream.

I looked at the babycenter one but got the impression you can only use it if you sign up for an account with them. It's free but I just don't want to sign up for another membership somewhere.

I have the babycenter one. It's eh. You don't have to sign up to download it. The forums are awful though.

yeah i have the babycenter one.  i like the calendar stuff, but their forums are very mainstream and honestly there is too much traffic there to really follow a conversation.  I am having technical difficulties with it even getting me to log in.

try the free sprout one-- it has really neat images.

The sprout app is not available for android :-(
Maybe I will try it on DH's work iPhone.

Sprout also has a journal app you can later print as a book. I'm gonna try it out. Mostly cause I'm a slacker mom and our baby books and my attempts at journaling are really empty. I am sure it's much lamer than a home made journal but I guess better than no journal eh?
