Is anyone feeling out of the woods prego sick wise? I still have four more weeks of ill, judging from the last two.

I'm 12w2d and still feel sick every evening or if I over eat. I'm hoping it goes away completely in the next couple of weeks!

Apart from having a cough and being just sick sick, my nausea started to improve from almost constant to several times a day at about 8 weeks, and by 10 it was down to only once in a while. Now at 12 I am mostly fine, just occasional bouts if I really haven't eaten in a while (or over-eat). Yay!

Last week I got sick with something that seemed to exacerbate my preg symptoms. I was nauseated, exhausted, felt like crap all around. But as soon as I got past that, I've felt better this week than I have my entire pregnancy. Lots of energy, good appetite. I'm sort of waiting for a relapse. I'm 10 weeks today.

I am in the exact opposite camp. I have no pregnancy symptoms and it's a bit worrisome. I am very thankful for no sickness but curious and a little weirded out that I also don't have sore boobs or aversions or anything pregnancy-related (besides losing my milk supply) at 9 weeks 2 days. I had a coffee aversion for a few days and now I can drink it again. I hope everything is ok!

That was my first pregnancy with DS.  I know it's super hard, but try not to worry!  And consider yourself lucky. :)

I had very few symptoms with dd1. I was just lucky. But I understand your worry. Have you seen your CP yet?

I almost embrace feeling yucky because it's a good sign,so I understand your concern, Hippie.

I am 10w5d and this week has been my worst yet!  I went to acupuncture yesterday and that helped a TON with the sinus troubles I've been having, but not so much on the nausea/fatigue.  If this is anything like my previous pregnancies, I have 3-20 weeks to go of this.  It's normal for me to feel movement before I get over the nausea.

I watched Grey's Anatomy this morning instead of doing something useful. I realized that the fictional Meredith Grey would be in our DDC.

Funny Leigh, I was thinking that, too! Ha ha. I think she and I might even have similar due dates because the last one I watched she was 13 weeks and I was like heeeeey! Me too! smile.gif

My nausea is still here, probably for awhile, but I have something similar to what you described AUvetmom, some funk that's exacerbating my pregnancy symptoms+cough and sore throat. I generally feel drained all-around, but today I started a regimine wherein I'm like okay, it's this time, you have to drink water now. Okay, it's this time, you have to eat now. Reminds me of Uma Thurman's recovery in Kill Bill where she's coaching herself "Wiggle your big toe! Wiggle your big toe!" And soon she's kicking butt! I hope that's me soon!

I am 13 weeks today. Have been throwing up all morning. Blah. Swelling is coming down in my leg but it still hurts to have it not elevated. My mil has been here and so helpful but she wants to go home a couple of days earlier than her ticket for a funeral. This scares me at this point. Having to take care of my son when it hurts to stand will not be easy. Hopefully these next few days that pain gets better. DS has been spoiled and has no routine while his grandma is here so he has been naughty and talking back. That with the pain I have been rather short tempered with him. So I really hope before mil leaves I don't have any pain so I can just deal with getting DS back into a routine.

I thought the same thing! But then I decided that if anything bad happens to her or her baby, I will boycott the show from now on!

Harmie, we must be psychic sisters -- same due date and i am in exactly the same boat as this is my worst week so far too! I also did acupuncture and it has helped me sleep and helped my messed up bowel movements (ahem!) but not the nausea.

It's my first so I don't know what to expect but i hope i don't have 20 more weeks of this!!

Let's just keep up  psychic stuff and both be done with the nausea in the next week or two.  Okay?  :)

Stormi- do you have any mom friends who can come help during the day?

Dd3 woke up every 10 minutes asking for water last night. It was A terrible night of sleep. I'm trying again for an early bed time for me. We will see how it goes!

I was going on 2 full days of no vomiting, then couldn't stop throwing up last night. greensad.gif I'd eaten some dry cereal while taking meds/supps (in an effort not to get sick), then threw up cereal for hours. Ugh. :/ Felt awful a few times today but I've kept things down, at least!

I'm looking into teaching some baby/parenting related classes and am excited to have ideas coming together. I'm hoping I can develop plans for a 'Baby 101' class and start that in the next few weeks. I figure it's a good way to earn some income while being predictable in schedule (though I still want to be attending births!) and it's something I can keep up even with a newbie.

I might be feeling better, maybe...At least I seem to have longer stretches of days where I feel good before I crash. Today I was definitely tired and I am looking foreword to a nap tomorrow while DH is home. I do need to drink more water though. For some reason I just can 't stomach much water these days but I really need to try.

I'm 10w4d and feeling like I'm out of the woods on the MS front! I'm also not exhausted all day only by mid afternoon I need a cat nap! Yay for being on the other side of it. With DD I was sick all day for 4 months, DS I slept for almost a month straight in the first tri but had only the mildest of MS. This one has been mild MS exacerbated by little to no appetite and therefor an empty stomach and midlevel exhaustion. All in all I think 3G (babe's nickname) has been a middle of the road pregnancy so far.
I hope all you mommies in the thick of it pull through fast!!!

Crunchy- can you add some lemon or a splash of juice to your water. I've had to drink water with lemon or a little lemonade for a while now in order to force myself to drink.

That's awesome, Marci.

I'm so sick right now, I haven't even thought about m/s for the last 2 days. Wouldn't it be nice if I came out of this illness totally back to normal?! A girl can dream...

Note to self: probably not a good idea to start 2 year old in preschool in the height of cold season when you are pregnant. DS2 is now on 2nd new cold in 3 weeks, and he hadn't even gotten over his cough from the other virus we all caught when he started. Pretty sure I'm gonna catch this one too, which will puts me at 35 days straight of being sick and who knows how many more to come! At least the nausea is mostly out of here!
