Oh man, I'm no good at these things! My name is Megan, I'm 22, and live in Alaska. I've been with my DH Josh since my sophomore year in high school, and married since Dec. 2009 :) We actually grew up knowing each other as he was friends with my cousin. He was really mean to me and called my "devil girl" because I wore high ponytails and had red hair haha.. oh how things have changed ;)

I'm the proud mama to my little monsters, Autumn who is 4 and Sylas who is 2, and of course we're expecting Calliope in April. I'm a SAHM, but before November I had spent 2 years running an in home daycare, and am an Early Childhood Education major. My hobbies are scrapbooking, hair and make-up(I freelance occasionally for some local photogs), baking, camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing! I also have a very unhealthy obsession with Hello Kitty, I even have her tattooed on my foot!

I'm a pretty open book so feel free to ask anything!

Here's some pictures of me and the kids, DH is a recluse and I barely have any pictures of his stinky butt!

So you grew up in Alaska?  Have you ever lived anywhere else?  What is your favorite part of where you live?  Least favorite?

I've grown up here a majority of my life, but was born in Nevada and spent 3 years in Kansas before moving here. We traveled a lot while I was growing up, and it really made me appreciate Alaska more, I could never move permanently! 

Best part of where I live: It's absolutely gorgeous. Mountains surround one side of my city, while ocean surrounds the other! Least favorite: Crime rates are really high :( A few years back Anchorage was #5 on the most dangerous cities list.

I can't imagine living in Alaska! I don't like the cold... or the dark! Haha. 

Do you plan on having any more children after Calliope? Does your family live nearby? Did you find any challenges in having children at such a young age? I only ask because I'm only 19 and having my first and wonder what kinds of challenges I will face simply from being younger.

Calliope is the last baby, I'm getting Essure after she's born. I'm not against adopting, but biologically, done! I think the biggest challenge from being a mom so young is just the stares/rude comments. Money too can be a problem, but I think that's something that impacts all age groups, especially in this economy. I've gotten anything from the "You're too young to have babies!" to "You're ruining your life" comments. I think that's been the worst part of being a young mom, other than that, I LOVE it! My MIL had my BIL at 45, he's almost 7 now, and she can't keep up with him as much, I love being able to keep up with the babies, I'll be fairly young when I'm a grandma so I can keep up with them, etc.

Thank you :)! Cute but naughty hah.

I have three  pets, a cat named Daisy, a ball python named Fluffy, and a german shepard/beagle named Lala and my favorite color is pink :)

Oh my gosh! I have to agree, your kids are *adorable*!

I love Hello Kitty, too! I had HK bed sheets, but DF made me get rid of them...

DF is exactly like that, too. I only have *one* fairly recent picture with him in it, and that's because we were at family gathering and my aunt *made* him come to the picture, so she could have family photos of all the separate families. 

What are you most excited about about having a new baby in the family?

:-o Oh man, it would be a cold day in hell before DH could get my HK stuff away lol, our poor bathroom and car look like HK threw up in there >:). What's with men and pictures? I told him when he dies we'll have a slide show.. of one picture, he said he didn't care -.-

I think I'm most excited to just have another little baby and see the older children with their baby sister :) My oldest was only 20 months when my son was born, so while she was excited she didn't really get it, nor do I think she remembers anything from my pregnancy/his early days. I hope now that they're almost 5 and 3, they'll remember when Callie was a baby, hugging my belly, and helping get ready and taking care of her!

I'm sad because it means another little boy is out, but then I realize we could just as easily have another girl if we had a 4th, and I guess the whole "this is my last pregnancy/labor/delivery/newborn" sadness kicks in, but then when I think about how crazy my 2 are as is and then adding in a 3rd, I'm good lol. I decided it was the last partially because of how crummy this pregnancy has been and partially finances. DH and I both will never have super high paying jobs, and we want to eventually buy a house, go on fancy vacations, help the kids pay for cars and college, etc.
