I've started using my 20 lb kettle ball again working my arms and back which are areas in which I feel I've gained some weight. Also I do squats 40-50 regular or with the kettle ball for more difficulty. I also do kegels and labor squats which are low deep squats like you would do in labor just holding that position and stretching to prepare the muscles. I spoke to a friend today who mentioned that she only pushed 2x for her son and she did kegels while pregnant. I also learned recently that squats can help strengthen your lower back muscles and help prevent back aches. I must say that I was experiencing back pain and recently it seems to be better.
Anyway I love walking so I do it most days whether permitting. Sometimes I go far like several miles but most days I keep it simple and walk for maybe 30 min to an hr.
I can't say that I've been eating very healthy. Its more like I eat what I feel I want and try to add in fruits and veggies at least once a day. I also drink organic 100% fruit smoothies which I use to supplement calories and nutrients. Some days I eat too many sweets but overall I don't think I'm overeating. If I have a time when I'm just so hungry and I want seconds or thirds I go with it because I know thats the baby and that doesn't happen everyday. I eat lots of cereal cuz its kinda safe for me and I like the almond milk and or organic whole milk that I usually have with it. I was in a phase where I drank large quantities of milk. I normally would not drink whole milk but I've been doing so during this pregnancy. Oh and lots of water, I make myself drink it even when I don't want to because I really want to avoid dehydration
