May I just say that I love the Canadian press? First Amendment, shmirst Amendment. Something like this would never make it to print in the US.

At the risk of oversimplifying, this is the basic formula of that model: winter deaths (minus) summer deaths = death by flu virus.

Wow. Just, wow! There were so many excellent statements in that article, and I couldn't decide which ones to copy here!  I'm AMAZED this article made it into the news. United States, land of the Free (haha) please take a lesson from Canada's superior reporting skills.

Oh, there will be rebuttal from the higher ups and of course the journalist will be made out to be an anti-vaccine crackpot.
