What's the difference, which is best and which should I choose!!? Ugh... Lol. I'm looking at the Boba 3G organic, the Ergobaby organic, and the Beco Gemeni or butterfly ii, I'm not really sure the difference. any thoughts?? My last baby hated being worn, so I am really hoping for a relaxed baby who loves it this time!! Lol

post #2 of 101/27/13 at 11:01amI don't know much about the Boba, but I have a friend who swears by her Beco Gemini. One disadvantage of the Ergo is you can't wear the baby facing outward -- and my son loves to face out, so we haven't used our Ergo in a long time :(
post #3 of 101/27/13 at 2:47pmCarriers are so different based on your body type. We got the ergo because it is really popular in our area but it really pulled on my shoulders and hips. I'm 5'3 and 128 lbs. then I bought beco butterfly and I loved it! See if you can go to a shop where they let you try them on.
Good luck!post #4 of 101/27/13 at 3:06pmI love my Ergo, but not for infants!! I bought the infant insert and it was awful and bulky and I was worried he couldn't breathe. But since about 5 months (he's 1 1/2 now) we use it ALL time--around the house as a side carry, and back carry for hiking. For an infant, I highly recommend just a long stretchy wrap, baby lies so nice and to your body, it's like wearing them as clothing.
post #5 of 101/27/13 at 6:10pmI've only tried the ergo but we like it! DD is only 10 weeks old. I never got the infant insert, I just used a blanket and now I don't use anything. She's always had good neck control, though.- 1love4ever

BK Mommy I am your exact size maybe I'll try to find that carrier. Unfortunatly I live in a small, very mainstream cowboy town, there is no store that sells carriers or cloth diapers for hundreds of miles!! Lol
post #7 of 101/28/13 at 9:40amI really love it! I'm telling you...it is all about your frame and body type. My sister is about my size and I ordered one from Amazon for her. She is a couple months away from delivering. But she is excited to use it.
Good luck and congrats!post #8 of 101/28/13 at 10:22amI am a mom and work parttime at a small business (retailer) in MD and we carry all of the carriers you asked about (and will ship to your cowboy town;)...check out our website www.softandcozybaby.compost #9 of 101/28/13 at 11:25amI love love love my Olives & Applesauce carrier :) It's a SSC, the same idea as an Ergo and what have you, but I didn't like the Ergo for me. The straps cut into me, it didn't feel as supportive etc. My friend is a babywearing guru and she suggested it. Now we have two ;) I love that it's a WAHM that does them, the custom prints are so pretty, and I could order it any way I wanted (with a built-in infant insert, longer straps etc.). Next baby might have to get another carrier... a half buckle, this time!
