I would have trouble with not eating 2 hours before bed. The evenings that I don't eat before bed, I wake up famished at 2 or 3am and can't get back to sleep without drinking a glass of milk. Although, if the alternative were acid reflux, I might prefer to suffer through the hunger...
I haven't tried chiro yet, and a memory foam topper sounds like next in my line of purchases...
I have the same problem - if I don't eat near bedtime I wake up in the middle of the night starving. What I do is eat a high-protein dinner or a protein shake and that helps get me through the night. During my many wake-ups at night, I do feel hungry but I tell myself I'd rather that than acid reflux. I sometimes get up to have a glass of milk or cheese and crakcers. Definitely no sleeping in, ever, though. I made that mistake a few times and woke up shaking and starving for food.

I'll look into that, we have a pillow top mattress but overall the mattress is a bit old so maybe I need something softer. I had actually read that a firmer mattress might help, so I'm going to sleep on our guest bed tonight and see if it helps. Otherwise it sounds like some sort of topper is in my future. gah. The exhaustion of not sleeping enough is really starting to wear me thin, plus with the weight and size of the babies holding me back, I'm just always weary and run down....and I still have til end of April! ah!
