Bountiful Baskets Food Co-op Augusta, GA

Thread Starter

I have never been part of a co-op. I have to find reasonably priced organic/ locally grown fruits and veggies for my family. I have found this in my area- has anyone tried them? They are all around the US.

Thanks so much!

I'm not in Georgia but I do use Bountiful Baskets here in Arizona. I've been participating almost every week for several years and have been really happy with it. They offer an organic or conventional basket wirh half fruit and half vegetable and then you can add different items like bread, juice packs, granola, and cases of in season fruits. I have found the quality to be generally good and that it's a good value. It offers more variety than a csa but it's not always locally grown stuff.

We enjoy the variety and plan our menus around what we get in our baskets each week.

I think they are fairly new to Georgia so you might find that people who are more familiar with them are further west.
