Lightforest- I had no idea you were in Chicago! That's where I'm from! I miss it so bad sometimes (mostly the food!)
Would you mind PMing me his contact info as well? I'd like to have it on hand in case I ever need an MD when I'm home visiting my family.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend! It was 70 today. I thought it would be a good idea to take the kids to the park. I was dying by the time we got there. It was so hot. Then bugs kept eating my stomach. I'm already dealing with an incredibly itchy stomach, and the bugs and heat made it itch like crazy. I thought I was going to lose my mind. Luckily the kids weren't that into playing today so we walked home and I slathered myself in oil.
I haven't been crazy today about going into labor (but secretly hoping in the back of my mind that the fact that I'm relaxed about it will make it happen lol.gif), and I have gotten a good amount of stuff done. All of the laundry is finally folded and put away. I cut a bunch of fleece liners for the babies' diapers. I started packing my hospital bag (I really should have had that done by now!) only to realize that I don't have a bag the size I need. I'm a chronic over-packer so that doesn't help, but it is like I could either bring 3 smaller bags or my huge rugby bag that I could fit in. I don't know what to do about that situation.
Now I'm just watching hockey and will hopefully fall asleep in a bit!

Perhaps you can pack a bag for things you'll want to bring in immediately, then another (or 2 more) for DP to bring in once the babies have come and you're getting settled?? I started packing today too and am having serious issues with self-restraint. I feel like there are so many things I could possibly want to have with me! And we will be at the birth center, so we don't even need to stay very long at all! I'm going to try to scale back.

AFM I have been nauseous for two days now, with *ahem* my digestive tract cleaning out. I've been having increased BH for a while. Early labor signs? Who knows! I can't go before Monday, and I am nervous about the possibility of the baby coming so soon, but I certainly felt a strong need to get everything on my list ready this weekend...

WLL--i laughed when i read how you're trying to manipulate fate, so to speak, by being uber relaxed about it and yet secretly hoping the relaxation will kick things into high gear smile.gif. You remind me of me lol.

Veganyogamomma--it sounds like you're almost there! Although the 3rd trimester has been known to cause digestive upsets so it might just be that.

I am worried about the same thing. My MW told me I'm good to go at home after Feb 12th.

I made it over to the dealer and got my car fixed. I dragged my MIL over and was glad she came, even if I was scared I'd stink up the car. Had to leave the house at 6AM to get to the 8:30 spot they were squeezing me into. We even managed to return a few items to babies R us that I had received and didn't need before coming back home. There isn't one near us, so it saved me from having to mail them. My back completely went out halfway home and I had to pull over and ask MIL to drive. Then, when we got home I took my daughter to a birthday party, ran into some friends, and tried to look normal with my back like it is. I am SO glad we have nowhere to go that involves a long drive tomorrow. Off to take a bath and hopefully that helps. :(

Oh my! Busy day at work!!!! I personally attended 8 deliveries in 7.5 hours... 4 of them were all within 57 minutes. I am just now leaving work, 3 hours late. My back is killing me... One of them was a very very tiny one.... Say a prayer for the little one. Only 23 weeks gestation. greensad.gif

Can't wait to catch up with you all after I get some much needed sleep!

I know, right?! I'm trying to keep reminding myself that it could be up to 6 more weeks! Though I really feel like she's going to come early, I know that could also be me wanting to be done being pregnant. With this arrhythmia, I've been resting since November and I have to admit, I'm bored! I am really looking forward to feeling better and being able to be active again!

I have been so reluctant to agree with DH that we are done after this baby, but at this moment, I'm 99% there! I am really looking forward to getting my body back to myself and feeling normal!

WLL- I like the idea of taking in a labor bag when you go in and then having DH get a baby bag and a mommy bag after the babies arrive.  He could even take the labor bag back when he picks up the other two!  Yuck for itchy stomachs.  I hope the oil helped!

veganyogamomma-I have been having annoying nausea everytime I eat.  UGH! No fun!  (I however, have not much in the nesting instinct happening.) I hope you feel better soon!

Melany- Enjoy your bath!!! :D  I was thinking about taking one... but then I'd have to clean the tub first! lol.

Chapsie- Wow... That's a lot of babies! How small was the small baby? I hope all ends up ok with that little one.  Catch up on your sleep and come back when you can! :D Also, I am jealous of the tummy massage you get from your midwife!

AFM- Not much to report.  Very tired no matter how much sleep I get and weepy at the drop of a hat!  Oh!  These hormones!!! At least I know that's what it is!  My DH is sick.  :(  Has been for a week... Which means I have to go to his parents' house without him today for the super bowl (I am not a big football fan at all).  I am sure it will be fine (everyone gets along and all), but I am really not looking forward to it.  I will miss him and be lonesome for him (Yeah... totally hormones!) and have been getting easily overwhelmed at the thought of leaving my house lately (again, hormones...probably related to nesting).  I just want to curl up with my Bible (I guess I could do that there if the kids stay busy playing with each other) or sew.  (I think it may be considered rude to lock myself in their extra room with my sewing machine! lol. winky.gif

O O O! I have an appt with a chiro tomorrow that I am looking forward to.  My pubic bone started burning and I NEED some relief!  Hopefully, it will prove helpful!

Should we start a "good to go" list?  I won't be on it until the end of February but those of us with due dates around March 1 will be considered full term later this week!  It's so exciting orngbiggrin.gif

Melany I hope your back feels better and you were able to get out of the tub last night.  And I'm glad your car is fixed - that's always so stressful when it's dicey.  My DH is spending this weekend (and last - we've had no car for more than a week) replacing the clutch.  But it was a good time for it to go - we have another vehicle, a 2-seater light truck, and I can just barely still drive it.  I shudder to think what would have happened if the car's clutch had gone right before my due date - or worse, when the baby was about 2 weeks old!  (I can drive DD around in the truck.  No way I could fit her and a baby in it - or even drive the baby on its own, the car seat rf doesn't go in the truck at all.)  So we would have ended up having to get it fixed FAST which would mean taking it into a garage which would cost well over $1000.  As it is, while it's an inconvenience, DH can replace it for just over $200 - it just takes him longer because while he's entirely competent, he doesn't have any of the equipment or lifts that a garage does.  But he seems to enjoy the work, which is good - he was quite chipper after he took the car all apart. Apparently putting it back together didn't go quite as smoothly but he's working at his parents' place (they have a garage and we don't) so they get to put up with any of his crankies and I just get a weekend of hanging out with my lovely DD and make cookies and go to the playground (where DD enjoyed the play equipment and I enjoyed the rugby game on the adjacent field.  Yum.  Great display of athleticism, I mean.)  It was nice and warm and sunny.

And tomorrow I get to go to Vancouver and hang out and stay overnight with my sister, YAY!!!  So looking forward to it.  I don't care if it's going to be a ton of walking and my bits will hurt.  I will wear makeup and spiffy up and go to fancy restaurants.  And get my sis to take pictures cause THAT ain't gonna happen again for a long while!

LightForest that's so awesome you found a good doc.  It makes such a difference.

Veganyogamama, I hope your baby stays in juuuuuuust as long as necessary!  It sounds like you've had a rough go of it and the sooner pregnancy is over (as long as the baby is ok) the better.

Jodie, I hear ya on the tired and weepy.  I only had to get up twice last night to pee but I still feel really dopey this morning.  Enjoy some superbowl ads for me, k?  I don't like football but I find advertising really interesting, from kind of an academic/train wreck perspective.  But we don't get the American ads!  We have to look them up later on the internet.  Canadian ads are generally not so exciting or controversial, and an awful lot of them involve beer (and not good beer either.  Canadians make some of the best beer in the world, but we don't advertise that stuff on TV, we talk about it on the local affiliates of public broadcasting.   winky.gif)
