Hi everyone!! I'm new here and have a 9 year old son with noonan syndrome. He's having a really difficult time now that he has realized all the other kids are growing and he is the smallest one in his grade. I wonder if he should be in public school. He feels bad about who he is. Looking for other parents who can relate and give some advice.

My daughter also has Noonan Syndrome, she is 10.  She is in mainstream school and even in the gifted program but she finds school very tiring and peer relationships are hard for her.  She has a 504 plan at school to help with all of these issues.  She gave a talk about her NS at the beginning of the year to her class and that helped to alleviate alot of their questions.  They would often ask why she got extra snacks, or got to leave school early or miss so many days.  School is very hard for her though.
