Errrgh! I knew it was coming! My son's nose started getting snotty again, so it was only a matter of time! My throat started hurting last night and I seriously just got over a sore throat last week! (The post nasal drip stuff is what gets me.) At least we've only had 2 or 3 bad bugs, but almost constantly having little obnoxious colds is driving me nuts! I feel like I'm sick more often than I'm healthy! I'm definitely not used to this. I guess not having a preschooler in the house when I was pregnant the first time made it easy to overlook just how suppressed your immune system can become while pregnant.

Looks like I'll be eating a ridiculous amount of raw garlic tonight. Hope the husband wasn't planning on getting lucky. wink1.gif I can't think of much less romantic than the killer breath I'm about to have!

Philsbabymama - (by the way we have an outdoor cat named Phil so I always think your profile name is funny) Sorry you are sick. I had a sore throat stuffy nose nasal drip thing the last few days but I think mine was dust allergies. DD isn't sleeping well tonight for some reason and I am wondering if her cold is coming back or if she is just having nightmares. She could sure use a break from being sick.

I am feeling more calm from this morning. After I wrote up an somewhat angry letter to send back I threw it away. I realized my mom was probably hoping for an angry letter of some sort so she can show people how "mean" I am to her. She is such a button pusher! The whole gist of the letter is that 'she has no idea why I am so mad at her but she will always love me. Oh yeah by the way you are depriving your child of love by keeping us out of her life and we hope that the pain you are inflicting on us makes you feel better. Happy birthday.'

Anyway, I harnessed my caffeine and rage into cleaning the house and I also got almost all of the giant pile of laundry done today and made a good dinner, so screw her. Tonight I did my prenatal measurements and my fundal height is measuring 2 cm ahead and baby was moving all over when I was using the doppler. It makes me have such a hard time fully believing the doctors when they said she could have trouble thriving and may have motor and cognitive delay. She's def not small and she is just as wiggly as the other two girls were. I am trying not to be falsely optimistic but I just don't feel or see what they are telling me. I had to move my next u/s and prenatal visit until the 13th so we will see what they say then. On another positive note I only gained 1 lb this week instead of 2.

After the initial treatment with prednisolone I haven't had any more symptoms, so I honestly think its one of those pregnancy triggered cases that disappear never to be seen again. If it flairs back up, then I'll be a little more concerned about it, but for now we're carrying on as if it never happened.

Hopefully it is just a rash from pregnancy and you will never see it again! Do you know if you are still able to UC?

Ugh, this drives me a little nuts at the clinic too. If the doctor gets behind (although I know it isn't always their fault) then I am suppose to wait 45 minutes but if I am 10 minutes late I have to reschedule.

We are probably buying a '12 Subaru Forester tomorrow.  I haven't owned a car that new in many years (9? or more? and only happened once).  Housing has been a BIG challenge I have no idea how this is going to work out and I am more then a bit stressed about it.

DD is half a basket case, and I think we are all having adjustment problems.  Weird, really weird, I feel like a foreigner in my own country!  We didn't really have these issues in Japan.

I will read through forums later, heading to bed now, I think, for a restful sleep.  I hope.  Will catch up soon with everyone.

Nice to see you back again! Good luck getting back into the swing of things.

So, I have a new fruit obsession to rival my grapefruit cravings. wink1.gif I ate an entire pineapple today. It was soooooo good. Actually, I've been drinking a lot of cocoanut water, too. Maybe I need a virgin piña colada! Haha!

Happy BFP anniversary to me and DS. 6 years ago when colts ( home team) won the Super Bowl I got my first BFP. Don't care much about football but that was a heck of a day.

There isn't much of a question about UCing. We don't have any other choice at this point, other than just showing up at a hospital in labor. After getting my results back I tried to get an appointment with an OB, but not a single practice in this entire city will take me on at this stage in pregnancy without official prenatal records. Since we had been planning on UP & UC I don't have any official prenatal records, so I can't even get a consultation anywhere at this point.

Honestly it isn't really bothering me, and gives me a great justification with the stubborn, fit in the box, relatives who don't understand home birth never mind freebirth.

I can't believe no one will take you on!  Ludicrous!  I suppose it's ok for you since it fits into your wishes for a free birth, but what if you were some mom who hadn't been to a doctor because you couldn't afford to go, and now needed medical care or something??
