How long will my comments be moderated?

Hello-

 

I started a new account and my comments aren't posting because they are being moderated.  I have actually been a member here for a few years-  Any way I can be given a 'pass'?  I love this place!

is it the length of the post that determines how long it will be held up?  I put quite a lot of time and emotional energy into my first post here and it appears that all I can really post are little chatty posts like these.
