Home birth pool question

Ok so I have decided to go with a kiddie/fishy pool rather than an actual birthing pool but I'm not sure on size. I am very petite, just under 5ft tall. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I don't have any recommendations for you, but I wanted to extend a BIG WELCOME to you!!

I'm not sure about the fishy pool, but I found this thread and thought it might be helpful.

I am on the fence about whether or not I will want a waterbirth, so I decided to order a fishy pool just in case.  It is only 2 inches shorter than the LaBassine (which is what I was originally going to order).

This is the one I decided on and if I don't use it....  Only $40!

Thanks for that link Jodi! I used the fishy pool for both of my other water births and planned on using it again but the site I had ordered it from is out of stock and they're $50 on amazon!

That is the pool I ordered this afternoon! I actually think it is still going to be a little tall for me as far as where my head rests (in a seated position 24" was above my head) but I forgot that I have this inflatable bath pillow thing that I think will work for that purpose! I looked at several on Amazon and this was the only one that had an inflatable bottom (which I prefer), wasn't super shallow and had positive reviews. I ordered it from the same website as you, Amazon wanted $10 more for it which actually shocked me b/c they're usually cheaper than most retailers. It is supposed to arrive on Friday!

My MW provides a tub and you have the option to purchase a liner or bleach the tub out before and after. I'm wondering if I'd rather use a liner after reading her "how to bleach" page. :)

I'd purchase the liner simply for the piece of mind to know it's clean.  How would you know that the person before you actually bleached it appropriately?  I'd be more comfortable if the midwife was cleaning it herself rather than relying on the family to reliably clean the tub.
