Birthday predictions « Back to Group Discussions

I don't know if this has been done so I thought I'd start a thread. If it has iust ignore me

When is everyone's prediction of the day of birth? Include any other predictions with it if you have any. Here's mine:

I "know" this baby is going to be an Aries and feels like a boy. His daddy is an Aries and I'm a Sagittarius so he'll fit right in. Big sister is a Pisces but she has a lot of fire in her chart so they will either really get along or clash (probably a bit of both).

I have a strong feeling that he will be born the last week of March, the 27th keeps standing out to me. An afternoon birth feels right, I am thinking around 3 or 4pm. Labor will be fairly quick, especially active labor. It'll have me on my knees, both literally and figuratively, with the intensity of it for the last couple of hours. I have a feeling it will last about 4 or 5 hours.

There's my prediction. I doubt I got it all right but it'll be fun to compare after the fact! What are all of your predictions?

This is interesting because this week, I had a strong sense that this baby would be born March 18th! Guess we' ll have to see!!

I think this babe will come March 10th at around 230pm.

This might just be wishful thinking because that would be the "perfect" day and time :)

I think I will go into early labor in the wee hrs of the morning and then things really get going around noon.

8lbs 5oz for weight.

I agree that a noon baby would be great!!! DD was born at 3am, and I'm hoping for a daytime baby this timr around, so I can have good night sleep before and after!! Plus, it would make things so much easiet with DD who would be in preschool during that time.
But that is wishful thinking and not a prediction!!!

I've been having strong feelings for Feb 15th, and I'm thinking they will be middle of the night babies. Like 2 or 3am.

My guess is February 23rd around 7:30am. I think she might come in the car on the way to the birth center, or accidentally at home.

DH thinks March 1st around 11:30am. He hopes we make it to the birth center, haha!

I am "due" March 1, but March 7 is really in my head.  No doubt b/c it is my BIL's birthday, and to throw our families off the scent, we have been saying things like "early March" or "around [person]'s birthday," and so for DH's family, it's BIL's.  But also...  40w6d is pretty close to the average for a FTM.  It just kinda feels right.  I'm kinda banking on baby not coming in February and hoping not after March 14, but we'll see.

I've been telling everyone St Patrick's day. Actual due date (by U/S) is March 9th.

My son was born at 38 weeks, but I had high blood pressure. My daughter was born on her due date. Of course, her due date was the date I calculated based on my chart and date of ovulation. The doctor's due date by LMP and was 6 days earlier. 

SO, I am anticipating baby could be early, but since I'm not having blood pressure issues, baby could be close to St Patrick's day. I didn't correct it with family because my mom will call daily to see if I'm still pregnant. I fully anticipate if I don't answer the phone that she will show up at my house and my blood pressure might start to spike at that point...

My EDD is either March 13 by LMP or March 16 by U/S, but MW are using LMP date. So I tell people St. Patty's Day.

However, I keep feeling like this baby will be earlier than my EDD. I am kind of hoping. DS1 came at 38 weeks, DS2 came at 41+3. So my guess is blind. I will just go with March 17 around noon. I think it will last about 4-5 hours (hopefully) and not be too intense.

WLL, my friend's twin boys were born Feb 16 at 2:14 and 2:16 am.... all natural!  (36 weeks) in 2010.   I thought it was so ironic how close your prediction was  to her birth!

I am "due" march 20th.  I was induced (with a closed, thick, high cervix and NO signs of impending labor whatsoever) with DS at 40+4, and my DD came on her own 41+1.   So I am definitely thinking I will go late by a bit... I keep thinking in my head March 27th in the very early morning (as the sun is rising!).  I am thinking of a moderate length to labor-- shorter than DD's 15 hours, but slow enough that I can really get into laborland and not be too overwhelmed.  Maybe 6-7hours?  Starting right after the kids go to bed the night before!  haha.  Because that's usually when i relax enough to focus on my body anyway, haha.   My water bag will remain intact until pushing and I'll give birth in the birth tub in my bedroom!  WOOHOO!  And I'll lift her up by myself, and it will be awesome.  Then we'll all go to bed (yeah right, haha, I'll be WAY too excited to sleep!).

I can't believe that some of you are so close to delivering!  I will be a bit sad that I'll be one of the last pregnant ones here on our DDC, but I will be very inspired by all your birth stories and pictures of your LOs to get me pumped up for birth!!!

Oh... and the baby will be 8 lb 15 oz and 20.5" long.  (my smallest baby yet, haha).

The potential for a c-section is still on the table for me, and the cards are stacked pretty high against my ability to VBAC, so I haven't given this much thought. I feel like this baby is going to come early, but that could be wishful thinking, and my thinking self says she'll definitely be late. My brother and I were both "late," considerably so, according to the conventions of this day and age. I don't know when my daughter would have come had she been allowed to come on her own, but I was still "high and tight" the day before my EDD with her, so... *shrugs* I figure I'm just along for the ride. ;)

In any case, at least we wont feel alone at the end of the month--we'll have each other! When I was pregnant with DD I was due Feb 28th so I could have gone with either DDC. I stuck with Feb because I felt more of a connection with them. That proved to be a bit annoying because I was one of the last ones still pregnant--i didnt give birth until I was 41 weeks along. Its okay though, i enjoyed seeing everyone's babies and reading their stories, made me more and more excited

WLL--it took me a few minutes to process the fact that your prediction means you'll be holding your babies in just a few weeks. It made my eyes widen, that is so soon!! I bet it feels really soon for you too.

Yay! So happy that we'll both be pregnant together til the end of the month!

It would be awesome to be in labor "together" too, haha. How fun to swap stories afterward and know it was at the same time. I think that's kinda cool.

I just keep thinking march 27! Can't get that date outta my head!

The 27th is stuck in my head, too!! I cant wait to see if we're in labor at the same time as well.

In my last DDC we did the labor buddies system. Has anyone brought that up here?

I'm due march 8, but I think it will be a February birth. I'm not sure when, but I feel like earlier rather than later. I've felt so bad actually I've just been hoping to make it to February at all! My other babies weren't real early so I don't know why I feel that way. I've had 37w4d, 38w1d, and 38w6d. It just feels different this time.

MPsweetie, I am so sorry you have been feeling badly. Follow that intuition, I bet your LO will be one of our first babies in the DDC! (With WLL's twins.).

If I'm not mistaken, it is where we are matched up with a buddy and we can exchange contact info so that our buddy can update the group when we are in labor/give birth.
