DD2 I had no signs until my water broke at around 2pm and had her in my arms at 7:30pm.  Didn't have any regular contractions till around 4pm.  You can dream!!!

I was up with nausea last night, too! Got up to pee around 2:30am then just lied in bed trying to fall asleep and not puke. Fun times ladies! These are the best weeks!

I could also seriously do without the intense nighttime sweating I've been experiencing. Although I know that continues for a little while PP so I guess I should just strip down and get used to it.

i have been sleeping in panties only for a few weeks now. i'm a not-so-portable heater at night. so. hot!

Hello ladies...maybe a baby today for one of us???

I went for an acupuncture treatment last night. Hoping it works.

I am 39+5 today. Need to have this wonderful boy in my arms now.

Not just impatient...nervous with a section scheduled for the 15th if

I don't spontaneous labor. I have to labor right??  I mean what woman

has anyone ever heard of just not going into labor and STILL carrying about their babe???

dim the lights no one talk and by all means no one in the room but my husband.

He knows to stay quiet and just be there:)

how about some probiotics??? I would choose to just get it over with and vomit.

Then take the probiotics. I have a very weak stomach and the last month of

pregnancy I have to have them with yogurt 3-4 times a day to not stay nauseous.

Hope you are feeling better by now.

It's now 3:30 the next day and the spotting seems to have actually picked up a little, but continues to not really be mucusy.

Could this be indications of dilation or still carrying over from yesterday?

I slept all night with the window open. When DH went to bed he tried to get me to close it and I believe I may have threatened him with his life.

I've been in underwear and a tanktop for bed all winter. I think it's the flannel sheets that are too warm... but when I get in bed they're so nice! And also yeah whenever DH even tries to put a hot hand on me when we're sleeping I have to move it away. Too much heat.

Hey there ladies-

I tried to check my cervix and ran my finger straight into babys head.... AHHHHH, I guess he is nice and low now.  (DH and I DTD 2 nights ago and I could tell he was running into something, I guess it was the head.)

But, my cervix is back behind his head, kinda hidden way up.  Had DH check and he said it felt like at least 2 INCHES open!  I don't know why my cervix hides back high though, It happened with DD2 too.  

Now, if I could just get this labor started!

Chloesmama : It sounds like your cervix is posterior, which, I believe is normal before active labor.  It should move forward as things progress.  2 inches!! You sound really close to active labor to me and with the baby that low. Wow, I wouldn't be surprised if you the were the next one here with a baby born!

Also I just started having regular strong contractions but this has happened two or three times now so who knows if I'm really in labor.

we all sound so close.... irregular contractions here too, all night last night, through this morning, then most of today. Now they are getting pretty intense and kind of uncomfortable, but I still feel like it's probably more practice.

on another note, I'm just 38 weeks 4 days today and my mom is flying out this coming Wednesday because she is just CONVINCED the baby is coming before due date.  I was talking to her today and she told me that ALL of her four births came on very suddenly and were less than 8 hours long. with all but her last (an induction) her water broke really dramatically/intensely. first labor 8 hours, second 3, third 6, and fourth 5. ETA: all of us were born in the 37-39 week range. maybe I'll take after her? she seems to think so. haha!

I haven't had any really intense signs of labor or practice labor other than BH throughout (which have turned into nightly cramping with maybe the odd "real" contraction thrown in for fun. nothing timeable). no loss of mucous plug, no bloody show, no loose stools. nothing. so.... we'll see. I'm patient. :)

my mom and m-i-l are also both really intuitively convinced that this baby is "big" (8 lbs+). sheesh with the predictions! let a FTM be!

i think it may have something to do with DD2 being sick all day today, but i am now feeling like i'm in complete denial about even having another baby... like this giant belly and being sore all over is just how its going to be forever and i can't picture having a baby come out of me ever, never mind having one come out in the next couple weeks..  such a strange feeling..

I have just felt like crud today, anyone else? I'm nauseous, no appetite and even when I'm hungry food just isn't agreeing with me. My pubic bones feel like they're splitting, I lost some MP and had 5 BMs (the frequent BMs are killing my hemorrhoids!), so maybe something is happening. Although, at this point it just feels like I will be pregnant forever.
