Childbirth Ed in SE Portland?

I feel like I should be having an easier time finding a class. I'd like to do a 4 or 6 week class because I really don't like to sit still and listen to someone talk for a long period of time. After about 2 hours my mind starts to wander. Anyone know of good class, preferably in SE?

Or is there anyone else in the area looking for something similar? There's a midwife in the area who is willing to do a group class, but she doesn't have enough couples (or mamas) who want to do it.

Unfortunately, the mama baby center closed recently. The midwife who did the classes there said she can still do private classes, but I'd really like to do a group class since it would be a good opportunity to meet people and I've lived here for 6 months and still haven't made any friends.

Did you try Zenana? I think they have someone in that teaches. Or MotherTree?

Hey mama, Alma does classes!! Zenana also as someone mentioned. I'd love to get together sometime if you're interested. I've been here 4 years but am the first of my friends to have kids and it changes so much. Lmk! smile.gif

Thanks. We ended up just doing a private class because I waited too long and we ended up not having time for a group class. Oops!

As far as getting together, I just replied to your thread. :)
