I'm Bambi. I live in a really tiny town that has literally one stoplight with my husband, Marcus. We live in southwest Virginia and love how everyone knows everyone in our area. We met when I was a freshman in high school (he was a junior) and have now been together for almost five years. We got married last year and I have absolutely loved every minute of it. After we got married, we found out that I was pregnant, but sadly miscarried at 6 weeks. We continued to keep our faith in God and prayed ourselves into healing.

Marcus has his bachelor's degree in business and is starting law school next semester. He is a district manager of Dunkin' Donuts and goes from store to store to work with their staff. I am a personal care attendant for children and adults with disabilities. I am currently going to school for general studies and wasn't sure whether I wanted to become an RN or a journalist. I still haven't made up my mind.

We have a five pound chihuahua, Milo, who goes between my house and my mom's. My father bought me my little Milo for my 16th Birthday but when I was moving out of my mom's house, he stayed with my mom a whole lot. He really grew to fall in love with my mom and step dad's 100 pound german shepard mix, Chico, and my mom really enjoys having him there. So he spends a few days with them and a few with us -- kind of like a custody agreement. HA!

We also recently took in a tiny little kitty that we named Wonderkitty. He has a "W" on his forehead, so I thought the name matched him. He has a very sweet personality and we enjoy his company. I just realized that pregnancy brain must be hitting me hard because I completely forgot to mention anything about our precious baby! Ha! I will be 28 weeks pregnant tomorrow. As much as we wanted a girl, we are THRILLED to be having a little mister and can't wait to snuggle him and enjoy the journey of parenting and raising a child. We have a very supportive family, all of which are ecstatic to be welcoming a new baby. It seems that they are counting down the days! Feel free to ask anything. I'm very open :)

I love your shoulder tattoo, do you have more? What's baby's name?

Are you worried about how Milo is going to act after the baby is born? Have you done anything to prepare him for it?

I've never had a dog and a newborn, so I just curious what, if anything, you planning to do. With the cats, we just made/will make sure they don't scratch or bite baby, and pretty much anything else goes, even when DD was a baby, the cats would take turns snuggling up to her. (We have a picture where she has a cat snuggled up on either side of her, and I can't remember, but maybe one at her feet, too.)

I'm not worried at all about how Milo will be with a baby. He was socialized VERY well as a puppy. Most chihuahuas become one-person dogs and become snappy with strangers. Milo is quite the opposite. He is more like a labador retriever in a small dog's body. He loves meeting new people and is great with young children. He has been with me a lot when I've held friends' babies and doesn't seem to mind. He just likes to snuggle up next to my legs (preferrably with a blanket) and nap. My ONLY worry is that he will want to lick baby's face! He's quite a lover... We will just have to watch him. Ha!

I actually am a tad more worried about having Wonderkitty around with a baby. Male cats are usually much better with bringing in a new family member or a new pet. He is very friendly and really enjoys people. I just worry that he might be a little too curious at first, especially with him being such a young cat. We will see, though. He has a couple more months to grow and mellow out.

Thanks!

I actually do have more; 9 more. I'll post a picture of a few.. Each tattoo has meaning, except for the gigantor piece on my leg. I got it because of my appreciation of art.

(I swear my feet aren't that dirty in that one picture. It's from the ink. lol... And ignore my long toes. DH says I have fingers on my feet.

We have decided to name our baby Grayson Blaine. We will just be calling him Gray for short. I really love the name Blaine, but wanted to use Neil instead because of my great grandfather's name (He passed away when my grandfather was 8, causing him to take over a dairy farm and the whole household as an 8 year old child.)

I love your tattoos! they look awesome!

You have mentioned that you are not circing and not vaxing. Have you always felt this way, or is it just recently?

You have awesome tattoos and you and DH are too cute! I was slightly worried how our dogs would take having a baby in the house with DD but they adjusted really well and it's never been an issue. Now they've got another one coming so we'll see how that goes.

Thank you!

I have known that I didn't want to vaccinate my children for a couple of years. I first learned about side effects caused by thimerosol when I worked with a child that had autism and his mother expressed her own concerns about specific vaccines. I did my own research and read a couple of her books that ultimately made my decision for me. I know that I will often question myself in my decision but I have prayed about it and believe that our bodies were created to sustain life and that I should avoid interfering with the natural process of immune system maturity.

I just recently decided not to circumcise. It seemed like a no brainier to me but I had to discuss with DH his feelings on skipping circumcision since he is circumcised and had to do my own fair share of research to come to the conclusion that I believe it isn't medically necessary.
