Hey ladies!
I need a place to join in and obsess for the TWW. We lost a baby in December and we just decided towards the end of this cycle to go ahead and move back to NTNP. I *think* we managed to make 0+1, and I need somewhere to hang out and wait :)
CD31 7DPO
I'm still watching this thread and hoping to see some BFPs soon!!!
Hi all,
Keeping my fingers crossed for all of you!! I have been lurking on this forum the past few days, so I thought I should finally join in on the fun!
I am 6dpo and have had some symptoms the past two days that are a bit out of the ordinary (very thirsty, sore breasts yesterday, but the soreness went away today), but nothing that would firmly place me in the pregnant or non-pregnant camp. Plus, I figure it's too early for that.
So this morning I woke up with lower back pain which was odd since I rarely get back pain. Several hours later, the pain was still concentrated in the lower back area, but my middle-back area was also sore now. I read that back pain is common in pregnancy, but it appears that it's more common later on in pregnancy, not during the TWW. I do have a tilted uterus though which I know is harder on the back so my question for you ladies who may have tilted uteri(?) is if back pain was an early pregnancy symptom or did I just pull a muscle/sleep in an awkward position? Appreciate thoughts! Thank you:)

AmyC- let's hope together for AF free v days thanks to new little lives! Though I am definitely not going to wait till then to test- props to you for waiting! I am just so impatient! :-p
lyterae- welcome! So sorry for your loss!
I am 7dpo also so we can wait together!Clementine- Happy you've joined the conversation! I don't know much about having a tilted uterus so Im not much help but I am sure one of the wonderful ladies here will have some sort of insight for you, or know where you can find some! It is a great group!
AFM- I'm hoping to make it till Friday before I test, and that is still early. Lol oh well. Baby dust all around! G'night all!
Lyterae and Clementine!! Lyterae I'm so sorry about your loss. Wishing you that fertile magic that seems to often follow a loss. Clementine the TWW can be agonizing and the symptom spotting can drive you nutty
Fx for you both!!
Blonhrt I do expect to O on or close to Valentine's Day. I definitely have Valentine's plans
Did you test? Did you test?! So excited for you!!
Katie I didn't realize you worked in health care and definitely didn't know you were a resident, cool!! What's your specialty area? I'm an RN and have nearly finished my graduate work to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. But I love teaching and don't anticipate moving back to the clinical realm. When I worked clinically I worked critical care mostly, ER and ICU, and then switched to Labor and Delivery at the Regional Center here (mainly high risk, so again critical care-esque, as I liked to say). Glad we're cycle buddies again and so hoping to be Due Date Buddies!!
Lots of
to all of you waiting to know and happy BDing to those waiting to O!!
So two lines came up right away. Then the first one faded. So now, I'm like.....what the fudge ? Maybe I'm not pregnant and AF is just late? It's happened before. Maybe I am and it's still to early to test because implantation is happening/ hasn't happened yet?
Weird....but I'll keep you guys updated. Hoping for the best

Arg! Blonhrt! Test agaaaaaain lol! I'm dying to know over here!
Afm, no AF yet, but I am feeling crampy so I'm not very optimistic.
Anyone else with news?! The suspense is killing me!
I'm going to wait a few days.
I was reading that most women won't get a bfp until a week after their period is due because implantation usually occurs on the day of the missed period?
I'm going to wait and test in a week. Unless I start throwing up or having some crazy symptoms. Because right now, I'm not feeling anything. I just feel great....:/.
Larski, I'd like to think its a good thing too! We shall see I guess...
One more day! Eeeek! Can't wait to hear!
Welcome! So sorry for your loss
Hoping this month brings you a a sweet little babe!

Welcome! I don't have an answer for you but hopefully someone else will! When do you plan to test? Hope the tww goes quickly for you!

Sorry larski, I tested this morning! Only because I really expected AF last night, and she didn't come!

Aw I totally understand Blonhrt :) I have a good feeling for you though! Good luck and baby dust, lady!!
Good luck to everyone else as well!

Amyvincent, I'll test again with a cbd, that's the only one DH will belive anyhow. Lol
Until then.....good luck everyone! I know testing is coming up for a lot of you!
Blonhrt That's so frustrating! What brand test did you use? Are you waiting until tomorrow to retest? Implantation occurs between 6-12 DPO. That's a range with most women implanting 8-10 DPO. Most reliably sensitive HPTs (ones that detect Hcg levels at 25 mIU/ml) will give you a positive if you are pregnant by 14 DPO. That said, less than 10% of women who are pregnant will still get a negative at that point and only ~1/3 will get a standard, strong positive at 14 DPO. The Digitals are all less sensitive. They require a Hcg concentration of at least 50 mIU/ml. So... I know. Not definitive but maybe a little helpful.
Dahlia How are you feeling? Any news to share (tests or ultrasounds done or upcoming)? I'd love to hear about it
Amy I hear you. I am only on CD 6 and waiting to O (probably have another week before O) and I'm already getting antsy!!
for you!!
Clementine I have no advice or insight re: tipped uterus. I find the TWW so very frustrating partly because anything could be a sign or it might not. I mean how ridiculous is that?! I had no major symptoms with DD. I recall feeling like my breasts were a little sore the day I tested (the day after AF was due) but nothing major. I had nothing noticeable until after 6 weeks. In reality, most of the signs/symptoms we attribute to possible pregnancy in the TWW are actually progesterone mediated luteal phase symptoms. That said, during my own TWW I notice everything and am convinced something or other means I am pregnant. You don't notice these things until TTC so it is difficult to tease out what is normal for yourself. Hang in there mama!!
So excited that it is almost the weekend. Any fun plans? Wishing everyone a peaceful day

:) I have my first OB appt on Feb 21st. I'll be 7w 2d then, so no ultrasound/sono yet :( booooo! I'm not sure if I posted this here before, but when I got my blood drawn again to test my hcg levels, they had quadrupled in 2 days! So yay :) My pregnancy tests now (yes I still take them because I'm obsessive lol) are soo dark, the test line is darker than the control line! It's reassuring for me to see the tests looking so good. I'm feeling good, just exhausted constantly! the past 2 days I've been especially tired. And today I'm really hungry all the time too. oh and I have big angry boobs lol.
larski - I'm crampy too.
AFM - CD23 11dpo. Tested with FMU. BFN. Not surprised. Late last night (10dpo) I had some light brown/pinkish spotting. And today I'm crampy. Now if this was the first time that happened, I'd be wondering if it was IB. But this happened last month in the exact same way on the exact same CD and it was just my body gearing up for AF. I expect to see increased spotting today. I'm not out for this cycle yet, but my hopes aren't too high.
