Hello
am updating you all from my lovely hospital room.. Friday afternoon I went for ante partum testing and landed myself in L/D ... my BP was 199/100 and would not go down.. so here we are.. Luckily the BP has come down, the babies are thriving inside and they are keeping me here until delivery.. I could deliver tomorrow or on our c section date of the 26th.. as long as vitals stay good and babies are not in any stress.. the plan is to deliver on 26th,, so 9 days...
I hope everyone is doing well.. today is 33 weeks for me!!!!!
Oh, wow, cananny! Glad they caught that! I can't believe you are so cloes to having your babies! I've been thinking/praying for you a lot lately, with the date being so near. I hope your vitals stay good, and the babies stay healthy until it's time (9 days!!)
AFM, DF and I went out last evening and had a pretty nice time, I think. We went and ordered our bed (Yay! A bona fide bed!), and they are going to deliver it on Tuesday, then went to a buffet for dinner, which wasn't great, but wasn't bad, either. Then we went and watched Hansel and Gretal: Witch Hunters. When I first saw it advertised, I didn't think DF would like it that much, but when he was looking up theathers and what was playing yesterday morning, he mentioned it, and I was excited, because I thought it looked good. It was really good, and almost all of the previews they showed looked pretty good, too. Now, we just wish there was enough time to watch them all before the baby gets here. ![]()
Today, the kids and I went to church, then came home to pick DF up to go get his hair cut. When DD saw him afterwards, she said, "I can't wait for daddy's hair to grow back." which was kind of funny. We dropped DF off afterwards, and the kids and I went back out to get some camping stuff and a few other things we forgot, and to give DF some time to rest before work tonight. DD started complaining that her stomach hurt, so I decided to start heading back home, even though it was earlier than I had expected. About halfway home, she started getting sick, and all the way home, it was, "Mama, I don't feel good." between getting sick, so I called DF to have him run her a bath so it would be ready. She tried to drink some Sprite later on, and it didn't settle at all. She's been dry heaving (sorry), all night, but no fever, and not actually getting sick, so I'm just letting her sleep and hoping it something she ate or something, but I told her if she's still having problems in the morning, we might have to call the doctor. I hate seeing her so sick, it seems like her immune system is so much weaker than DF, mine, or even DS'. But thankfully, they don't have school tomorrow, so as long as she doesn't get sick tomorrow (and no fever or anything like that), she won't have to miss school.
