ARGH.

I set DD up with a movie, and a snack, and gave her very clear instructions, multiple times, NOT to interrupt me while I was doing my HypnoBabies unless she was sick or bleeding.

So what does she do? Pound on the door when I had just SEVEN minutes left in my 30 minute track to demand a drink of water.

She's four, and clever and definitely capable of better. I am so frustrated. It totally threw me off my groove. I had to count myself out of hypnosis in a big rush which left me angry and stressed instead of calm and relaxed. And I NEED to complete this particular track today or it's going to throw off my schedule for the rest of the week. So now I'm going to have to do it again tonight, starting from the beginning.

She can't let me do my homework for 30 freakin' minutes?

on the bright side, you had 23 minutes all to yourself! I'm jealous of that!  Sorry it threw off your schedule though. I totally freak out when my kids ruin my attempts to schedule my time.

Oh no! I hope you got the time to finish that disc!!

I hope you got to finish your session, IronMam!

I have to go in to Labor & Delivery tomorrow for a NST. Really, I just need to get the Rhogam shot, but the only way for my insurance to pay for it is to do an hour of monitoring, as well, so... yeehaw! (not!) But at least we'll get to see the Labor & Delivery that way, without having to do a tour. They were a little upset that I've waited this long to get it, but... not much to do about it when I didn't have a doctor, so... whatever.

I was all prepared to start working on my freezer meals for after the baby is born, just to realize that *every* recipe, I was missing one important ingredient. Every. single. one. duh.gif So I'm going to take the kids out when they get home from school and pick the rest of the stuff up, and a few other things we forgot/couldn't get earlier.

My mom shared this with me on Facebook and I had to share it here because it amuses me to no end.

haha, that's how I feel when changing the beds now! could always be worse, though!

Well I did something today I really didn't want to, and that's buy more maternity clothes. I'm almost 34 weeks, but nothing's covering around my belly anymore and the draft is just not tolerable, and also I just can't squat down or sit in the car in jeans anymore so I will bite the bullet and actually wear yoga pants out of the house. Clearance racks at Old Navy and Target were great though, and I tried to find some versatile pieces to use for early postpartum.

Ironmam: BWHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing!

Oliversmama: I'm having the same problem. The other day I was in the urgent care waiting room (my daughter had an ear infection) and a little girl kept looking up at me and finally said, "I can see your belly under there!" I laughed because it was funny, but was a little embarrassed. To be fair, you couldn't see my belly unless you were shorter than me and looking up....

Omgosh,,,, normally I don't feel like just because I am pg I deserve special treatment, but I am a bit irritated rigt now! At my daughters' dance class and everyone and their purse is taking up like 2 seats, so I get the floor (we sit in a hallway). People keep looking at me....and then there is a guy and his kid who won't even look up from his tablet. If just ONE person moved their purse or attempted to scoot over I could have a seat on te bench. Sheesh. I should come when I am in the throes of labor, maybe even pop the baby out here, and freak them all out as payback.

I had an appt at the Perinatal Doctor today and not only did I overhear them refer to me as a high risk pregnancy for the first time, but I learned they would be starting weekly NST's as she was walking me back to hook me up. The HB was fine and my U/S was fine showing DD growing as she should be (approx 4lb 9oz fwiw) as usual. THEN the Dr casually asked me if I "planned on letting mother nature" take it's course or if I was looking at an induction... o.O I was like... I was induced with DD1 due to hypertension so I know it's a possibility but that I'd like to go into labor on my own. He just nodded...

Ugh. I have the feeling these next number of weeks are going to just be a joy. eyesroll.gif

I'm sorry so many of us are having rough weeks. Mine isn't any better. I started getting a cold last week in addition tothe sinus issues I've been dealing with this entire pregnancy. I even went to the urgent care night before last to make sure that it didn't seem to be anything worse then a cold and to get a new inhailer. Everything checked out fine but then yesterday I started to get wicked ear pain. I woke us this morning at about 7:30 with some of the worst pain I've ever felt in my life. My ear was throbbing and the pain was radiating into my jaw, down my neck and into my shoulder and down my arm. I was litterally in tears and nothing was making it better. I used some nasal spray and a rice pack, took some advil and ended up getting in a hot shower which helped a little bit and I was able to sleep a bit. I've been in bed all day and now the pain is back and it's in both ears instead of just one.  And none of the things that helped this morning are helping.

Anybody have any ideas/remidies? I have a neti pot that I've never used so we bought water so i can give that a try tonight but I'm desperate for some relief!

Haha, okay so I just realized I lied.  I was searching through old emails to a friend about pregnancy stuff and came across one with my DS at this same time gestation and described to her how I was feeling practice breathing (because she's the only other person I know who's caught it happening during her own pregnancies).

Oh well...add it to my pregnancy brain list.  I'm worsening by the day.  What's new...

Last night, on the beginning of the wash cycle for diapers, my washer crapped out. I flipped the circuit breaker, unplugged it, etc. Obviously wasn't going to work so we called the matienence guy to fix it, he told me to remove the diapers and he'd be there in the morning. I removed the diapers from nasty poop water and just for giggles, tried to see if I could get it to turn on again..and it did. Ugh!

Wow! So freakin rude! You have a baby bump too, so it's not like they didn't know you are pregnant or anything!

Fire spirit, maybe you need antibiotics? It sounds nasty. I hope you feel better soon. I am also having sinus issues and have been hoarse for weeks.

Were you told Advil is ok? I was under the impression we need to stick with Tylenol for pain relief.

Firespirit, I am right there with you! I am absolutely miserable! I am so stopped up that I can't smell Vick's vapor rub whatsoever. I'm not even kidding. That's just ridiculous. I just the NeilMed Sinus rinse and it does help, but once you've gotten to the point that you're THIS stuffy, it doesn't completely fix the problem. And being this sick, I'm more likely to see a unicorn out my bedroom window than actually get any sleep. It's ridiculous.

I work inside the home with people that have physical and mental disabilities. Today, one of my patients' cats had kittens! It was awesome to watch! .... Makes me that much more anxious to have my little sweet boy here with me!

I can DEFINITELY tell that my little man is getting bigger and stronger. He REALLY gives me an odd shaped belly now!

1babysmom, I can't believe that people could be so inconsiderate! I'm definitely not uncomfortable with confrontation, so I would have been rude. "Excuse me. You think you could move your overpriced handbag so that I can sit down? I do have a few extra pounds of baby and fluid sitting on top of my pelvis. A chair would be nice."

I just made my order for (hopefully) a good deal of my cloth stash! I'm so excited! I'm thinking it might be *almost* enough to cover, at least for awhile.

2 covers, a BG flip and a bummis super whisper wrap

24 prefolds

and a small wet bag

+

2 FB Elite OS covers + inserts

1 Cutey Baby small cover + inserts

1 Cutey Baby med cover + inserts

2 Mabu baby covers with 8(?) reusable inserts and a package of disposable inserts

I'm still hoping when I take the kids to Build-a-Bear, we can stop by the cloth diaper store and see what they have in person, as well, and there are two consignment shops I want to check out as well, just in case.

Stormy - I avoid advil during pregnancy but I was feeling like the tylenol wasn't going to do it for the inflammation and such. I only took 200mg of advil and several hours apart, feeling like the risk of that little was minimal. It helped the first time, but not the second time so I don't think I'll try it again.

Bambi - I'm sorry you're feeling so crummy to! NO FUN! I have a homeopathic "vicks" that I've taken to actually rubbing inside my nose and behind my ears. It helps a little..

If I don't have significant improvement tomorrow, I'll probably head back to the urgent care and have them looked at again.

I'm also using Neil Med sinus wash and Xlear sinus spray. They provide temporary relief and it's not getting worse, but I am still not getting better! My nose itself is not congested, but there seems to be a post nasal drip that causes me to cough and have a hoarse voice. It provokes a lot of stupid comments from people, but it's convenient because I really don't like getting out these days and it's a good excuse. I think this is here to stay for a while. I am also using this tea tea oil ointment because I love the smell, though I'm a little iffy about using it in pregnancy.

Firespirit, I didn't mean to second guess you. How are you feeling this morning? Hope everyone feels better soon.

Sometimes mine does that too, I think it gets unbalanced or something because if I remove everything it resumes normally and I just have to put everything back in evenly spaced around. Freaks me out every time though.

Sorry for everyboy feeling crummy! greensad.gif. Sinus problems seem pretty prevelant right now. I have been having trouble for about 2 weeks now as well, though nothing severe as long as I stay on top of certain supplements (and when it is, thankfully Afrin does the trick for me).

No fun guys!
