Congrats Cananny!  Such great news!!!!

So I'm experiencing something interesting.  Since I've been doing the RRL tea 3x/day for about 2 weeks now, I'm suddenly not gaining weight anymore..in fact I've LOST about 2lbs from where I was at at my weigh in last week.  Really the RRL is my only change.  I recently started counting my calories, but just that- COUNTING them.  I started to see if I was just eating WAY too much or something, because I've gained steadily throughout this pregnancy, moreso than my past (and I'm already a high- almost 50lb- gainer so seeing those big numbers come even earlier is nerve wracking!), but I realized I didn't really have to cut or change anything.  And I was already drinking an average of about 120oz of water every day.  I've also been more "regular" without any supplemental help and RRL hasn't ever noticeably affected that for me before.  So I don't know whether it's the RRL contributing to these changes or not, but it would sure seem like it!!!  But anyway, it's just been pretty BIG for me since weight has been a huge challenge this pregnancy.

Congrats on the triplets!!!! I love their names too.

For those of you battling sinus issues, eating raw onions can clear you up. Onions are also great at absorbing sickness so stick a raw one in a dish next to your bed (cut the ends off).  Also lavender oil is great for sickness. I put it on the bottoms of my feet before bed if I have a stuffy nose or cough, and it really does help me to sleep. You have a reflexology point on the bottom of your foot connected to your sinuses.  Going back I forget who had the ear pain, but put some lavender oil on the back of your ear before bed and sleep on a warm rice sack (or heating pad) to bring out any infection.  I tend to stick with natural remedies when sick so I have a ton of ideas, hope they help!

AFM - remember when I was in L&D due to ctx from that infection? Well when I saw my midwife afterwards she said the labs came back and I never had any kind of infection so to stop taking the abx. But I was to keep taking the abx for BV, because it was likely I still had that. So I did and and I finished all the abx on Tues or Weds this past week. But my ctx, and pains & cramping, and lower back ache came back Friday morning. I was up all night and couldn't sleep - baths weren't helping, nothing was. So I started taking the abx I originally got for the bladder infection and all pains have gone away again. So in hindsight - I think the labs at the hospital either got mixed up and I really do still have some sort of infection, or something else is going on causing me these ctx. I went away for the weekend so I didn't get to see my midwife, but I'm going to call her today and have them redo the labs. I don't want to be having these ctx anymore! Certainly don't want baby coming at 31 weeks!

But yay for 31 weeks - only 9 left, single digits!! I'm getting very excited but nervous at the same time. We still don't have the van we need in order to travel with 3 kids. I still have stuff I need to buy for baby, and I don't have any sort of nesting going on so I'm not even in the mood to do anything.

Finally!

My latest diaper bag order attempt arrived and I think my quest is over (well...I still have some lose ends to wrap up with the charge back of bag #1 and the return of bag #2). Phew!

The new bag looks better in person, color-wise, than the online pics. So I'm feeling really happy right now. And I'm relieved to finally be done trying to get the "perfect" bag. I think there will be some tight squeezing from time to time (since it's going to hold all my purse contents and the usual diaper bag stuff)...but I'm kind of looking forward to figuring out how to pare things down. I'm one of those people who likes to be prepared for anything...but I actually very seldom need some of the items I always cart around, and could probably get away with leaving them in the car (like band-aids, stain-pen, etc.) instead of keeping them on my person at all times.

Anyhow...I'm just really happy that I'm happy with it! Especially after this morning a package arrived (with my belly/hip binders, and a bunch of baby stuff I ordered) and UPS wanted me to spend $50+ on duties and brokerage fees (on top of the $30-40 shipping I had already paid)! We actually refused delivery for the time being so we could call and make complaints (which DH did because my hormones kicked in and I was bawling). UPS has agreed to charge about half that tomorrow when they re-deliver. But I'm also going to be e-mailing One Step Ahead (the website I ordered from) with a complaint because nowhere in the order process did they warn me that there would be duties on top of shipping (most websites I've ordered from have a disclaimer warning you before you purchase that you might get charged a duty, and Amazon even pre-charges you one, then refunds you if it ends up being un-needed). So anyhow, I was feeling really glum and frustrated, so to have my diaper bag arrive and to finally be happy with it was just what I needed today!

So glad it's all worked out for you finally!! It was definitely the diaper bag saga of the DDC. ;)
