Bean! the first ultrasound the baby looked like a bean

Since we have a feeling it is a girl, we either call it "Catherine" or "The Baby" :)

No special nicknames, just my baby smile.gif

Yup, another "baby" here too, though everyone else calls it "Sticky" in hopes he/she will stick around.

We just had a gender ultrasound yesterday so from now on we'll be calling HER by her name! Before today, we called her 'the baby.'

Their title was The Embryos...until they became fetus'. Now they are just "the babies" or sometimes, not too often, they are "the twins".

None of my kids had in utero nicknames, either.

With my 4 four year old we call her/him "New Baby".

She just dressed her stuffed cat in New Baby's clothes, and even put a cloth for a diaper and a baby hat. So cute!

When I do the hypnobabies tape when you meet your baby I call him/her "blueberry".

We usually just refer to him/her as just "baby" - though sometimes "junior"--as in "Junior's already doing a number on your sleep!" I sort of think it. I think of it as my little bird though, since its heartbeat always reminds me of a bird's.

We started with "blueberry" when it was that size, then moved to Zaytoon (Arabic for olive), and then to Mishmish (Apricot) when it hit the size of an apricot.  It's now much bigger, but the name stuck, so we just call the baby Mishmish.  We won't be finding out the gender before the birth, and it's kind of nice to have a "name" for the baby that makes it more personal without knowing if it's a boy or a girl.

Ours is "bean" too. I joke that if it's a boy then I'm carrying "Mr Bean" wink1.gif

I dot have a name for it. I'm having trouble feeling like this baby is real.

My first was little cheeseburger because I craved cheeseburgers like crazy! Lol

Another just baby here. I've always wished we'd come up with a cute little nickname that stuck, but never managed to with any of my pregnancies. Maybe if we can come up with a name sooner rather than later this time (coming up with boy's names has become hard!), then we'd probably start calling him that. At least we can say him, instead of it or he/she.

There is an intense gender debate going on at my house.  DH calls baby "Bam Bam", his sister calls it "Pebbles".  Our 5 yr old makes up a new name every couple of days.  Last one was Leah.  I call it "Angel Baby" but I don't say that out loud because it sounds like a miscarry kind of name and I'm kind of paranoid about that.

Just "the baby" right now. My first, we called him "the bean" (and still do... Almost more than his name!). My second we called the "bee" because that's what DS1 called him in my tummy, he couldn't quite say baby.

We call it "Thor" because of a convoluted inside joke that was not funny at all when I typed it out... :-p

We call it whatever fruit it's supposed to be matching in size that week. This week it's "apple," but my favorite was kumquat :). We also call it "the baby," and alternate she/he/it a lot. I have two prey friends who call their boys "Larry" and "Chuck" just for fun! But sometimes people really think it's the name they've chosen and that's even more fun!!
