How many times has a BPIAB been used before failing?

I bought a personal BPIAB about 6 years ago for my third home birth. My son was born in the pool, after which I loaned it to several friends. Two years ago, I used it again and my DD was born in it. Another friend has since used it, for a total of 7 babies born into it, all of course with individual liners for sanitation. I'm wondering how much more it will stand up for. Can I safely expect to use it again? Or will it be likely to fail?

Has anyone else had a non-professional BPIAB be used so many times? More? What is the real life expectancy of it?

Anybody used one multiple times?

Yes. Some midwifery practices even use the personal pool.  It's very sturdy.  If it's always been well-treated, there's no reason to think you couldn't use it again.

Thanks. I have had minor issues with it in the two births I've used it for, so I keep expecting it to have more. But, some may have been user error and some were fixed. I'll definitely need to inflate it in advance. I believe my MW has a newer BPIAB on hand now, so we'll have that for back up.
