Mine are a month shy of turning 2!  I'm still in shock when I say that.  I love 4 year olds.  I think it is my favorite age.  They start becoming more cooperative and independent, but most of all they are finally getting verbal enough to share their inner thoughts and interaction with the world around them.  2-3 is a grit my teeth and get through it period.  Not looking terribly forward to it with twins, but we'll make it!  Currently, their favorite activity is fighting over the potty chair and removing the pot.  No accidents yet, but I can see the day when someone decides to use it without the pot to catch anything.  So, it will be a matching set of one-piece potties for their birthday.

Mine turn 8 soon! I don't know where time goes, but it goes fast.

My twin girls were 4 months yesterday, but were 3 weeks early.  It's lovely to see how interactive they are becoming, and the new advancements each day brings.  They are napping a bit better right now (xfingers crossedx), and sleeping pretty well at night (still get up once in the middle of the night to eat).  They are trying to roll over and are holding their heads up well.  Just yesterday Guinevere started trying to stick her paci in her mouth herself or alternately finding her thumb (instead of the whole fist wink1.gif ).  Teeny babies are adorable, but I have to say, it mentally makes life so much easier now that they are really engaged with us,smiling, laughing, etc.  I'm sure each stage has its joys and difficulties, but overall, right now things feel like they are getting a bit easier.

My g/g twins just turned 8 months today and A finally crawled forward for the first time!! Yay! Both have been scooting backward for about a month but now we're making forward progress, I know it's a bad joke ;-)

10 week old baby boys.

They are getting more interactive. Smiling and cooing and following us with their gaze.

Very cute.

I can't wait until they can actually play and interact. I find infants pretty boring.

10 day old fraternal twin girls and wishing they were more interactive already.

My b/g twins will be 5 years old in a couple of months.  Over the last 6 months there has been such a jump in their development.  As they both put it "we're not babies, we're big kids".  So true smile.gif.

My identical boys are 18 years old, just finishing their freshman year in college!

Hang in there, ladies - it does get easier.

Our boys are now 5 months old and it is getting a lot more fun.

We also have an almost 4 yr old DD. The boys ADORE her. I swear she is their favourite person.

Anytime she is in their line of vision they can not take their eyes off of her. She can make both of them giggle like crazy. And she loves that, as she loves to make people laugh.

Having her around is so much better for them. We were worried with twins, or even one second kid, that there was no way that we would be able to give the attention and stimulation to them as we could with our first. But their is no need. With an older sister they are getting so much more attention and stimulation just watching her.

They are much more interactive now. Both of them are "talking" up a storm.

They both have very distinct personalities. One of them is a squealer or schreecher. Her will just screech at the top of his lungs if he wasn;t some attention. He rolls over from back to front and front to back. He is showing great interest in wanting food. Although we are going to wait a while longer. But he still isnt a big grabber. He doesn;t reach for everything. He'd rather we handed it right to him.

The other one is a big talker. And a smiler and def. a giggler. He just loves to laugh and giggle. He loves to grab at anything remotely within reach. And grabs at and pulls his feet. But, although he can roll over...he almost never does. He will lie there and shuffle a bit to change his angle...but almost never rolls. And he doesn;t show interest in food at all. And he doesn;t screech at all. But he will just start crying if he wants attention or held.

It is going to get interesting when they become mobile. I am both looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time.

Mine are 2 weeks old tomorrow, g/b twins. So far they are easier than my first who was very high needs, I am sure that won't last! All the advice I received here and from my three Aunts that have twins to wake them together is so good. Feeding takes awhile right now since they are only BFing sometimes so I have to pump and use bottles right now, but it is already getting better and I am only having to supplement 2-3oz of formula a day now so that will be done soon I think!
