Storm's essentially over now, DH is home, the streets are plowed... time to come out now baby!

that'd be your plug! ::baby vibes::

I'm having an interesting morning..  no discharge or anything at ALL (my last labor started with my water breaking, and i still haven't seen any sign of mucus plug or any of that)  - but i had ctx on and off all night, nothing painful, and since i started really paying attention they've gone from 5 mins apart an hour ago to 2-3 mins apart now..  they don't really hurt... but they are much closer together than any of the BH i've been having..  hmm  .. if they'd just start getting more uncomfortable/intense i'd be calling my midwife ..

ok that last one was a bit stronger .. maybe?  (i'm either 39+6 or 40+1)

The week plus of illness continues in this house-- last night I came down with the stomach bug that my youngest had. I feel okay, just tired and my stomach is a little wrecked. Soooo ready to feel healthy and have this baby!

Good luck! I hope you're in labor land/baby land soon.

Last night I started having contractions that were much more uncomfortable than my usual Braxton Hicks. They've continued today, but only like 1 every 30 minutes. Hmmmmph. I hate getting my hopes up at all, and my sleep is disrupted as they wake me up....

same here, except my contractions are coming every 1-2 hours. i have been busy all day doing laundry, dusting, and other tasks so i haven't been paying attention much. i'll get all weepy if i think about not having baby in my arms soon.

things have been about the same all day here, i've had a couple times when ctx got really close (2 mins apart) for 3-5 ctx and a couple times they got more spaced out (6-7 mins apart) for a few ctx but for the most part they are 4 mins apart and not really anything painful but still feel fairly real  - like early labor ctx. ..  last time my water broke and this part didn't last this long..  its been 6 hours that i've been timing ctx and last time my entire labor was only 10 hours ..  at least i'm in some sort of time-warp land, it does NOT feel like its almost 3pm.. i feel like i just got up..   i have a feeling things may pick up after the kids go to bed..   one of my midwives is coming to check on me in a bit and see if these ctx are doing anything ..

rachieface, kellybeth, and etsdtm99 - I'm sending strong wishes of quick resolution for your respective contractions! May they stop getting your hopes up and decide to cease OR continue with gusto already, so that you can either rest or get on with the business of laboring. You're all in my thoughts!

DH and I went on a nice walk, and that strengthened them some but now they are spacing out again. Meh. I really am not thrilled about having the type of prodromal stuff I had with my son.

mine are still regular - 4mins apart or a bit closer if i move around a lot .. getting a bit more intense..  my midwife is here, going to check me again soon, about 2 hours ago i was 3cm and 75% - baby was not really engaged so she thinks that, along with lots of fluid is why things aren't really going anywhere..  since i hadn't been checked before we have no idea if i have progressed at all or not ..
