So RRL tea ladies, how much are you drinking?

At ~32 weeks I am drinking 2-3 mugs a day (about 4-6 cups total, though only about 2/3 of it is a strong brew because I reuse my leaves each day). I am drinking just a tidbit more than I have in the past at this point. I am still having BH but not as frequently as I usually do (though I am not nursing 1-2 kids during this pg either), and the ones I have I can't feel them as much (could be why it seems I am not havin as many). I am still dilating slowly (almost a stretchy 2) but that's still pretty normal for me at this point.

Anxious to start my Gentle Birth Formula (1st time using a birth prep formula) in a few weeks and see how the two combine for me. I mean, if I generally hit 6cm by the time i start labor (courtesy of castor oil), and there is a possibility the GBF could increase that or speed it up even more....how much can a person dilate without finally going into labor!?!?! LOL

Honestly not a ton.  I am averaging one mug per day.

I am also not experiencing as intense BH ctx this time.

I'm drinking 1 mug a day and having tons of BH. I had a dream last night that I was in labor and my daughter and husband were with me. I was just breathing thru ctx and it was super peaceful.

1babysmom, this may be an odd question, but how are you aware how much you are dilated on an ongoing basis?

I have been drinking about 1 cup a day, and then in 3 weeks I plan to start the Gentle Birth stuff, too.

I check myself. I have no qualms with doing it myself. I know most people are hands off, but for me, I LOVE knowing exactly what my body is doing and when and I don't find any issue with it. (Now someone ELSE'S hands is a different story!) I think it is fascinating, especially being able to feel baby from there!. Plus I prefer to guage even the smallest changes since we go unassisted. I don't usually check though unless I feel prompted by a day of lots of ctx or pressure, or concern about baby's position (so I can feel which body part is down there...always a head so far with each baby, thankfully! LOL), or I can feel more of what I am almost positive is dilation in very small degrees (feeling sharp shooting pains that feels exactly like tissue splitting/stretching...and "ironically" I have always been more dilated or stretchier after that happens).

It has definitely taught me what is normal for me during pg! smile.gif

Well, that's pretty cool that you can tell what's going on so well. Thanks for clarifying:)
