Recently Single Mama looking for friends and resources

Hi everyone!

I'm a recently single mother of an (almost) two year old little girl. I left my unhealthy marriage, and am now seeking out friends, and resources that anyone can recommend for single parents? I left with basically nothing, so I'm trying to find places to get cloth diapers for cheap, a baby carrier or sling for free/cheap, and clothing for my little one. I have a place to stay once I make the move (I'm traveling from Nebraska to Connecticut), but would love to connect with others.

I replied to your CT thread. When you get here, you can come check out what I have kickin around. When will you arrive and where in CT are you going?

A long time ago I used miracle diapers to help when i really needed it, and sold off my girly & designer things to buy diapers and baby things on a forum. I used Craigslist and scoured the free ads and searched baby section for cloth. It's usually cheaper to buy local.
I know of some great secondhand stores and playgroups for you!
